Nigeria international Henry Onyekuru is being linked with an imminent move to Monaco.

According to L'Equipe, the Principality club are in the market for offensive players and are on the brink of signing Everton-owned winger Onyekuru.

A transfer fee of seventeen million euros is being mooted and it is claimed that the player has been offered a five-year contract.

Onyekuru could replace Monaco's Colombia hitman Radamel Falcao who is reportedly close to a switch to Galatasaray.

The Turkish Super Lig champions are among the teams interested in signing the Nigerian this summer but it appears they are lagging behind Monaco in the race for his services.

Monaco sent their representative to monitor Onyekuru in the Istanbul derby between Galatasaray and Fenerbahce in April 2019 and the Super Eagle seems to have impressed their scout thanks to his goal in the 66th minute.

Tosin Adarabioyo has joined Championship side Blackburn Rovers on a season-long loan from Manchester City.

The Premier League champions confirmed Adarabioyo's move on their club website on Wednesday with a short heartwarming message for the youngster.

"Everyone at City wishes Tosin the best during his time at Blackburn."

The Man City website did hint that gaining more game time was the thoughts behind the loan deal for the towering defender.

"The defender, who joined City as a five-year-old, will look to continue gaining experience at Championship level after making 36 appearances for West Brom during a loan spell last term."

Adarabioyo made his City debut against Chelsea in 2016 and in 2016/17 played against Steaua Bucharest and Celtic in the Champions League.

"In total, he has made eight first-team appearances for City and has also represented England at youth level on 15 occasions," the website went further to recall.

The 2019/2020 season in the Championship starts this weekend with Blackburn Rovers hosting Charlton Athletic in a 3pm kick off game.

The problem will now be his personal terms and conditions cos I don't see Monaco paying him what he was receiving at Galatasary.
I think he will have to take pay cut. He earns $100,000 a month + $10,000 for a win in Turkish league meaning that he was paid close to €150,000 in some months last season. Well let's see what Monaco prepared for him. Henry na big boy o

David Okereke has revealed he turned down a chance to join Southampton in the Premier League in England so as to join Club Brugge.

Okereke became the Belgian club’s most expensive signing after he cost them eight million Euros when he moved from Italian Serie B club Spezia.

The former Abuja Football College star also revealed that he received offers from several Serie A clubs.

He told Het Laatste Nieuws: “US Sassuolo kept calling. They were very specific. Although I still had options in the Serie A with Cagliari and Brescia . ”

Okereke scored on his league debut for Club Brugge at Waasland-Beveren last weekend.

Watched him for a long time since he was 16, he has a lot to learn, and he is nowhere as good as Fikayo Tomori.

Blackburn is the quintessential KICK and RUSH , blood and guts English football team he is going to find it not very pretty.

Unfortunately injuries in the harsh world of football will not give you a reprieve but will count against you.

As a consequence you can be easily labelled as injury prone. And that will cause your faltering career to be curtailed even further.

Injury will come and go it's part of football. However, long term continous in and out of injury is NOT GOOD.

Very true

German Bundesliga side, SC Paderborn are considering offer from Turkish Super Lig outfit, Besiktas for Nigerian defender Jamilu Collins, Completesports.com reports.

Besiktas, according to several reports in Turkey have made a tempting offer for the highly rated left-back which Paderborn might be willing to accept at the end of the day.

A move to Besiktas will see the 24-year-old feature in the UEFA Champions League for the first time in his career.

Collins played a key role in Paderborn’s promotion to the Bundesliga last season featuring in all of the club’s 34 league games.

Collins is currently on holiday after taking part at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations with Nigeria’s Super Eagles.

He featured in three games at the competition with the Super Eagles securing third place.

With Nicolas Pepe's African Transfer Record Move to Arsenal, will Iwobi still feature among the First XI more often in the coming season?

Pepe's arrival does not directly affects Iwobi as Emery will likely feature him from the right. Iwobi has always played from the left for Arsenal and a few times, depending on their formation, as an AM.
Indirectly though, Pepe's arrival could mean Aubameyang could shift to the left with Lacazette in the middle if Emery wants to start both Auba and Laca alongside Pepe in a 4-3-3.

Anyway, time will tell. But I think Iwobi is safe and will get enough games. He is Arsenal's best bet on the left. Pepe's arrival directly affects Mhki and even Ozil indirectly.
can also play the ozil role. he will get game time.. am sure of that

Even without the Pepe or Wilf Zaha I would still say he should find a new club. I feel he needs to move on in order to take his game to a next level.

He is too comfortable in London and I don't think this is good for the type of player we expect him to be.
moving away from arsenal will be a bad move because it is likely he will be moving to a lower standard club and that could hamper his development. BTW there is no guarantee he will get playing time
