Yes, you can. Your VO will most likely return it back to you sha cos they won't need it.. just hold it to pass through Paulinus without hardwords. grin

I'll prefer the local government Certificate then. Since it's above 5yrs

1. Any status on AD? Please if you are getting AD let us know, lectures are to start October 1 for me, no AD yet.

2. I booked Cat A as had been before this present change of Cat. I was given a ref number. Some days later Thier site changed to no AD and changed again to Cat B for 2.2.
Please who is in this same shoe, did you cancel?

3. Those booking appointment between 1.15am and 1.20am, any luck on AD?

@JUSTWISE @DUESTCHEMANN seniors in the house.
Helpppp

I believe if you booked category A before they removed second class lower from the list, and you have a date, don't cancel it. If the VO asks, tell him/her that you booked before the criteria was reviewed.
I hope you've gotten a date now?

Hi, pls am new to the Germany thread am trying to start school application for my brother who is an HND graduate, I want to ask how to go about the application cos I read from this thread that he can only apply for Bsc which is not a problem but my problem is most of the school teach in German language, my question is; is it language course he will apply for or the real course he want to do?

Thank all hope to read from u great people soonest
He will do a detailed search. There are many English taught bachelor degree programs. DAAD, makeitingermany, etc etc. He can even Open Wikipedia and search for the list of all universities in Germany, and open their websites one by one to search.

Good morning house,
My interview is slated for Aug 13th. I just got my affidavit of age waybilled to me from owerri,it was prepared by a lawyer but my mum's passport and mine was not attached to it. She said that how it's done in owerri high court. Can I attach it myself or just use it like that.
Secondly for those that have filled the visa application form. The part that says "intended place of stay in Germany". Do I leave it blank? Cos am yet to sort out my accommodation there. Thanks
1. Well, you can leave it like that. So far it's properly stamped and signed. But on your interview date, hold your mom's passport photo with you. incase.
2. Intended place of stay: since you don't have accommodation yet, leave street number blank, just fill the city you're headed to and its postcode.

Good evening all

This AD issue. I had 2:2, I booked on July 2nd and Oct as start date and I don't think Oct was too early at that time. Even if I cancel and book with Nov as enrollment, I'll have to apply under CAT B
What should I do now?

Secondly, who knows about health insurance.
I can't block now, any help on how to do it and where here in Nigeria or anyhow Sha. I need to do it for my enrollment.
Any suggestions?

Thanks
If your school can confirm that you can enrol till November, and you don't have a date as at now, you can cancel and rebook. Just my thoughts tho.
About health insurance, you can register from here. If you're under 30, visit http://www.coracle.de and register for any public health insurance. Upload your AL and passport. The document will be sent via mail to you. When you get to Germany, you'll link it to your account and it will be deducted monthly there.

Good evening House! Please I would like to know which schools in Germany give Bachelors admission with only ND certificate. I got rejections in Bayreuth, Cottbus and Rhein Waal. I look forward to applying for summer admission, but I would like to be sure of schools that do not have problem with only National Diploma. Thanks a lot for any possible hints.
It's highly unlikely you'll get a BSc admission with ND.
You need any of:
1. HND
2. Completed 100L University transcript
3. Completed BSc program
To get BSc admission in Germany.
However, you can mail the course coordinators of the programs you find, and inquire if you can apply with ND

I haven't gotten a date yet.

It's really depressing.

I can't risk cancelling and rebooking.. And from Trends I've observed, the AD dates keeps going further..

Now I'm enrolled as my school allows to enroll online..

I don't just know what to do..

Lectures start Oct 1.

Hello please I’d like some help. I have a bachelors in Human anatomy and I would like to apply to any school open now for msc or phd. Any school suggestions u. Any find any for health sciences
If your neuroanatomy is very good, and you have interest in neuroscience, you can apply for MSc Neuroscience. There are many Neuroscience programs in Germany. I applied to some at
1. University of Regensburg (I was admitted here, but I turned down the offer tho)
2. University of Bonn
3. Goethe University Frankfurt (admission is non-restricted)
4. Julius Maximilian University, Würzburg
My background is biochemistry. My project was on Neurotoxicology, and that was what sold my application to the Regensburg guys. No in-depth knowledge of Neuroanatomy or neurophysiology, that's why I rejected the offer since I had a better one elsewhere.

Okay, a solution here can be to
1. Cancel and rebook
2. Mail your course coordinator to confirm to you that you can resume in November and catch up on the courses you've missed lectures on. If this mail is sent to you, print it and take it with your enrolment Certificate to your interview. I believe your visa will be processed.

Plan B
1. Defer your admission to summer.

Good evening guyz..I av 2 questions to ask nd will b happy if I can get honest answer..
1. i booked for AD since June nd my enrollment deadline is oct1..i am thinking of cancelling nd rebooking though av sent a mail to my skul requesting for extension of enrollment deadline buh dy avnt rply my msage..my question is sud I go on to rebook wit November as enrollment deadline

2.. I graduated wit 2:2 nd since d rules av changed can I still book under cat A because am scared of booking under cat B since a fwend told me it's hard to gt AD under cat B..
pls sum1 sud help a confused fellow..
1. Don't rebook until you have confirmation that your enrolment can be extended to November.
2. If you cancel, you can't rebook under Category A. It's advisable to wait for your school to decide if they can extend enrolment for you.

Another plan is to defer to summer and apply for visa by then.

And enrolment must be completeted in person after starting it online. How do I go about this. My course start date is Oct 1st. But I used Nov as start date to get AD from embassy
I guess you booked for interview before your AL came.. well!
Your only hope is for the school to extend enrolment for you till November. I hope your VO won't check the date you supplied when booking and the date on your admission letter.

Someone should please help me with German cv format,

And motivational letter format, please what does official German declaration of sponsorship means? Even if I'm using BA? Please enlighten me
1. Google Europass, and fill accordingly. It's not compulsory to use it tho. The normal format here will do. So far it carries your personal details, work experience and academic achievement
2. You can also Google "how to write a German student visa motivation letter". You'll see many samples. Basically, you're telling the embassy where you got admission and why you want to study in Germany.
3. Since you're using BA, then there's no need for the declaration of sponsorship. It's an alternative to the BA.

i got the email below from one of the school i applied admission for, please guys how can i prepare for the interview and what are the likely questions, please those that have gone through this type of interview what should help out

Attn.: Your application for admission to the master of science
degree programme in physics at Heidelberg University
Interview by phone invitation

Dear applicant!

Thank you for your application, which has successfully entered
the second phase of our admission procedure. You are invited to an
interview.
First of all, please ensure that you are time-correct. They are 1hr ahead and the time sent to you is German Local time, so subtract 1hr and that will be the time here in Nigeria.

As others have advised, questions will come from your motivation letter, why you want to study the course, why you want to study in the school, your career goals, and some questions from your undergraduate modules and project.

Had to catch up on more than 30 pages. And I'm happy with the good news flying around. ALs, ADs, AMs, Visa etc.
All glory to God.
Those who are expecting a testimony, I pray you'll receive it soonest.
Summer applicants, I believe you're all preparing well. Please check through the thread for guidance and ask questions where necessary. May God see us through. I'm always accessible by mail, and I'll reply you instantly, as soon as I receive your mail.

One love,

Bro,
Can I chat you up on whatsapp? I might be coming to berlin this September
Thanks

Immafrank:
If you are coming to Berlin this winter. Please budget nothing less than 350-500 euros for accommodation, you won’t see it lesser than that plus the caution fee you are to pay. Cheap Accommodation can be scarce in Berlin due to many students coming in the winter. Beware of scammers. There are lots of accommodation scammers.

If you will be schooling in Berlin, it will be worth it.
*Free Transportation including train and buses for students in the whole of Berlin and state of Brandenburg. (Berlin-Brandenburg) as long as you are with your school card.

*Enormous Job opportunities.

*2-3 years residence permit at first application. You don’t need to book appointment with the aulander for your RP. As long as you are done with your city registration in which accommodation contract is a prerequisite to register with the city. You can apply for it ASAP. In some cities, people wait 2-3 months before they are scheduled for appointment for RP plus 4 weeks for the card. Berlin don’t use card. They put the permit on your passport just like the visa.

*Plenty clubs if you are the party type. African Kitchens Dey too

If you will be schooling is Potsdam, you can also apply for your residence permit in Berlin. Meaning you need to have accommodation in Berlin and do the city registration. Potsdam gives 1 year RP so some students rather stay in Berlin and just go to Potsdam for lecturers since transportation is free. Potsdam is juss about 35 minutes to Berlin depending on where you stay in Berlin though.

If you are heading to Munich, bring money Oo.
Accommodation can be slightly expensive in Hannover too. Don’t sign any accommodation contract until you get your visa.

Wishing everybody success!!

Thanks Sir.
My enrollment is extended till Nov 15 and I will get an enrollment certificate when I send my Health insurance to them.
I rebooked yesterday with Nov 20 as deadline and got an AD today for 30th October (funny and annoying)
Moreso, I booked in cat A and I had a 2:2(I hope this won't be a problem on that day)
I just hope my enrollment certificate would make things easier.

Any thoughts sir
