I dont know if you are a Registered Nurse but if you are then you are highly misinformed and it's a shame. If you arent, then please take your time to inform yourself.

RNs ARE NOT ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS. As a matter of fact, the USA, CANADA, UK and all western countries NEEDS OUR SERVICES.

Your statement is so funny and full of ignorance.
FYI......Registered Nurses migrate to the usa with their GREEN CARD APPROVED BEFORE LEAVING THEIR COUNTRY OF RESIDENCE. So we can walk straight from the airport to the White House and Nothing would happen.
Girl......... You're the ignorant because you obviously dony watch the freaking news. Trump is cutting off legal and illegal immigration. Your green card doesnt mean anything. If it was as easy as you're trying to make it out to be you wouldn't be in this thread looking for advice and tips. Ice is going to lock you up in those cages if you dare do something so irrational. Lmao im literally laughing because it's crazy how blind you are to whats going on in tbe world right now. Do you really believe these white countries want you there especially if you're this dumb already? Look for opportunities in your home land please and hopefully you get more education too while you're at it because id hate to imagine my life in your hands if i were a patient.

Do you realize that right now most of the countries you are immigrating to hate you? You'd rather struggle in another man's land before your own? The political climate around the world currently is not on your side. Just stay home please

Sorry I didn't answer your second question.
YES YES YES I would rather struggle in another man's land than in Nigeria as a Registered Nurse.

My reason is very personal and it is simply because it was because of the USA I was motivated enough to finish my Nursing school in Nigeria.

That Nigerian struggle was paying a friend of mine 1.2m per year as a teaching hospital staff.
Right now, the struggle in "another man's land" pays her 33m per year.

So please oga or aunty is it your struggle undecided kiss kiss undecided undecided.....biko struggle your own and lemme struggle mine.... Lahòr! Ejòr!

Thank you!

Small minded? Girl im in the country you're trying to get in tf if anything im helping you. Im telling you immigrating is not the wave. Countries are becoming less receptive to immigrants and in particular Nigerian ones. In America not even the native blacks in the country can do well due to racism. Why do you feel like you're an exemption or it won't affect you? If it was as EASY as you're trying to paint it out to be, all African Americans would be millionaires. But we all see theyre not. Most African nurses in America are struggling bad right now, they're poor. Don't believe the hype.

I am very aware of this denaturalization task force and law.
What you are failing to understand is that there is NOTHING ILLEGAL nor Fraudulent about our applications.

Permanent residence is a privilege and not a right in every country(not just the states). You can only become a citizen after being a permanent resident for a set number of years(depending on the country).

Immigration fraud is anything you lie about or state to mislead a Visa officer during your immigration process. Thus is a person os found to be guilty of said fraud irrespective of the person's current immigration status( ie Permanent resident or citizen), that status which was gotten under fraud can be withdrawn.

This means if they catch the lie you told in your application during the application, you can get a ban. If it is caught after your application then you can get the statis taken away and you would face deportation. That's what trump's task force is all about(finding out the lies)

Thus in immigration matters, HONESTY IS THE BEST POLICY.

So my dear "knowah" that is highly educated, that's not what immigrating as nurse is all about.

Okay am glad you are in America. FYI am not "struggling" to come to the states. As a Canadian permanent resident, I can go in and out of the states on a daily basis if I so please.

I dont know the route you came in through but if it wasnt legal then it's those categories of people that should have the fear of trump.

Not struggling abroad is a function of so many things including how you spend your money. If most people you know are poor then please change your friends because na you pick them undecided undecided.

Also I don't like hypocrites. you say you are not in Nigeria and you are asking others not to leave. AUNTY HAVE YOU BOUGHT YOUR RETURN TICKET? You can only have a moral ground to make this argument AFTER you relocate back to Nigeria.

Because I am ME. Listen, if you are good then you are good. They may not like you and frankly who cares but they would send for you because you are the best at what you do.

Does racism exist yes. But would it stop me from doing me, NO.

L-M-A-O. I'll visit you in the detention center.
The superiority complex is so delusional. Im literally telling you people in the country are suffering and you believe you're above it all. This conversation is pointless if you dont recognize the truth. Don't you see all the post of the people complaining after they're in America? Why are you okay with suffering in America opposed to Nigeria? This is what is confusing me. What is wrong with your own country

Anyways I pray all those trying to Migrate from one place to another finds favour in all our applications.

Before I left naija, I vowed to myself that I wont be one of those "aunty wey mumu" that you would ask how she migrated and she would tell you ....."it was just prayer and grace of God, I dint even know what happened".....mtchewwwww.

I told myself that I may not have cash to distribute but along my journey I found out that knowledge is power and indeed many Nigerians perish for lack of knowledge.

I also said I wont be one of those people telling you that abroad na just suffer. Yes you would work hard and frankly you would be payed as hard as you work. What you safe from that depends on your responsibilities back home and your life style.

All those aunties and uncles shouting that USA or Canada or even the UK is hard, have you ever seen them return back home to save their self the so called hardship?

People that return back to Nigeria either have "surname", have made it big and want to invest in a business or the country dey pursue them.

So my people dont be discouraged. Speaking for Canada, it's better to work here as a health care aide or even janitor than to be in that catholic hospital or federal hospital self in naija. That's as far as income is concerned.

Canada doesnt have an immigration crisis. We have a refugee problem. I want you to understand that immigration pathways differs and only people who claim Asylum that are subjected to the detention centers in USA NOT NURSES.

This thread is for nurses not for your fellow illegal immigrants. Foreign nurses has never migrated illegally in any country of the world.

Hello my fellow nurses,
Please I used WES for evaluation before I found out about IQAS. I initially evaluated b.sc but I recently did an upgrade because I have an RM too [want to use it as additional certificate]. The process right now is at the point of verification. They said they are waiting for verification from nursing council. I think this is a new development just like the WAEC requirement cause I didn't see anything like it when i evaluated my b.sc. please who has encountered this before? how long does it take for NMCN to send verification? Do I need to contact them or anything like that to nudge them? Please someone help!

I doubt wes would recognize your RM. You may just have to initiate the process of evaluating just the RM with iqas. Wes always says it's not equivalent.

Have you applied to nmcn to send wes the verification?
Because if you are waiting for them to receive mail and do it on their own then you are in for a surprise because you would have to pay the nmcn verification fee before they attend to Wes request.

Also you would need to renew your license before nmcn answers your request for verification.

Yes you can combine it. I would advise you to start iqas for your RM because WES would be a waste of time and money. You can check through my profile and you would see a sample of how wes assesses RM and RN from school of nursing.

No I didn't. We combined the course together with nursing in school, then wrote the exam afterwards. Thats a bit of a problem cause I can't do anything with it alone without nursing showing in the background. Although we did the final year clinicals separately.

Then I may be wrong but I dont know if you can assess that as a separate certificate. Mine was obtained in school of midwifery hence i had a transcript from a different school for my midwifery.

I know a lady who was trying to evaluate her public health certification (which is awarded as part of the BSN ) to give 2 certificates with iqas but it didnt work. They responded that they needed a transcript and separate certificate for that degree.

So if you want to try it then by all means do it. At the worst future candidates would be able to rule that out. Midwifery is a 4 year university degree program here in canada.

Pls keep us updated on the outcome of this evaluation. Thank you!

If midwifery is a 4 year program that means it most likely wont work, but Ipray otherwise. Will keep you guys updated, even though the completion of my evaluation is still a long way off. Have to renew my license first then go from there.

please i have the following questions
1. Can a fresh graduate with just 1 year internship experience get agency like Avant for USA sponsorship
2. If the above is no....can getting CES report from CGFNS help.
3. If number 2 fails...can getting IELTS with CES report make any difference.
4. If all options fail...can getting NCLEX in addition to number 3 increase ones chances of getting sponsored by the likes of Avant.
Thanks
