pelumsie:FULL, FULL,FULL. It was through Cigna. My roommate had a myomectomy on the same insurance and it was covered 100% |

pelumsie:Here’s the screenshot of a current one for you to see for yourself. All insurances have policy limits. So far you’ve not reached your policy limit which in this case is $250K per year, your expenses are covered 100% after a deductible or copay has been has been paid. The hospital admittance fee in this case is $50. Then all other covered services are paid totally.

Its up to you but a Nigerian man sacrificing 4 months to look after a 4 year old in the USA with a hospital bill of $10,000 would be a red flag for any VO except am missing your narrative Document to proove he can care for a child would be training with a nanny academy which may look worse, these VO’s are abrest with our culture,or travel with ur mom or mil May be good u go alone, u want to proove ties to home, but then again depends on ur travel history and proof of funds, thats what i wud do. With walter carrington this is just advice u can meet a vo who will give u all ,but i wont bet on d odds esp hubbys 4 months Visit! If he is a salary earner max leave is 6wks no biz man wud leave his biz for 4months typically. You can use abuja or lagos. Is this ur first baby in usa, whats ur hospital budget, travel history, |

Our case is somehow. We are planning to use Abuja. D treatment is funded by a charity organization(not medicaid) my husband is a teacher/owns an academy. I am a civil servant Aside from the promotion exam coming up,i am two weeks pregnant(unplanned) No travel history. What's your advice. Qei2u: |
Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 6 by Nobody: 5:02pm On Jul 31, 2019 |
Qei2u:You are welcome to try to sue anybody or anything in USA. Get lots of money, hire the most expensive American lawyers and let them read the hospital terms in fine print and what you sign being admitted. Start suing for years and spending your money for to receive: NOT APPLICABLE. CASE DISMISSED. Why don't you sue the Nigerian government for having a Nigerian passport instead of an American passport? 1 Like |

quin9: I believe she already envisaged the verdict by admitting their "case is somehow". I always say if one needs help, best to lay all info on d table so dat people can advise u accordingly. If u arent willing to share then dont solicit peoples views cos they truly cant help u much. Oya aunty or uncle, tell us d full story, condition and charity paying ur Bills Maybe someone with similar previous experience might be handy wit good advise. Otherwise na round n round scanty responses u go dey everly get. 1 Like |

quin9:The child condition doesn't give you a visa for the whole family. 1 child and 1 adult to go to the hospital it's enough. If the sickness can be treated in your country, the visa can be denied also. Even if the sickness cannot be treated in your country, you may be denied. So many people in troubles, sick and disabled, USA can't accept everybody. The backing of a charity organization may play against you, it tells you have no money. Don't you see how many are denied just because they paid the half for giving a birth in US? You wish to go to the American hospital for free. How do you think the consular officer will see it? I will tell you, the whole family wants to go to America using a sick child as their anchor, this family doesn't have money and wants a medical service for free, then this whole family try to stay in US forever using again the sick child, no money to return, no money for living, food, etc. Do we need more immigrants on welfare? Your visa will be denied. |

Well, thanks everyone that has contributed. It was specifically stated in the letter that no taxpayer's/govt fund will be used.I got know about this from a Kenyan woman who benefited. And the fund is basically for international children. This is the second time we are getting the approval. However, baby girl has been treated since birth in this country.we have our doctor's referral We are taking care of flight, accommodation and feeding. I said the case is somehow because it's not the normal birthing case and this is the much I can put up here. Besides,I just want to know if baby girl can be accompanied by her dad(1 adult) as I won't be available. quin9: 2 Likes |

Please house, I really do not know if this is the right way to ask a question in a thread. I need advice. I have US Visa expiring Jan (did renewal in 2018 jan) however I have used this visa twice last year for casual trips prior to having a bun in the oven. What do you advice, as I am due in the first week of December and just got married. Hubby does not have a visa at this time and I intend to use a reputable hospital. My worries are no more change of intent letter, reappearance at the embassy et al. Should I just travel and come back with a clean bill? |
Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 6 by Qei2u: 2:28pm On Aug 01, 2019 |
So basically ur child is ill, ur now pregnant nd cant travel so hubby is travelling with the baby, you both cant afford the healthcare and are being funded by a charity for treatment. The best person to have followed this child is you ,if for any reason u cant come back early n u have ur baby in usa that would be trouble....... If the childs condition is bad i.e a hole in the heart and the charity amount is alot to cover for as much as child will need they will consider, they wont let a child that could be saved die! If they dont believe u dey will ask u to go to india. But one parent n the sick child alone should apply not both of you. I wish your child a full recovery and Gods mercy with the VO. 1 Like |

Blink2: I like to look at things long term,if u apply for a b2 visa now,ur account balance is healthy and u choose a reasonably priced hospital your chances are very high for an approval but it could still fail. If you travel on this visa now you will definately enter the usa and have this baby .......but what happens at your next renewal ......the VO will hold on to this...... you may escape it or you could get denied at that point, your chances would be much lower. Hope i havent confused u further |

PLEASE don’t go jejely, inform the embassy of your intention, I believe you can do so by email (can someone confirm this?) besides VO being strict POE is also very strict, these days if they see that your previous visa was B1/2 and you changed without informing the VO in Nigeria they might keep you much longer interrogating and questioning you if not satisfied or can even cancel your visa. The best if for them to see a comment from the VO that you sent an email than nothing at all. Remember your visa expires in January that is a RED flag As you travel ensure you have you confirmed doctors appointment letter, hospital, accommodation & At least some POF on you. I hope this helps. Best wishes Blink2: |

I had my baby in the US in 2013. I posted my journey some years ago. Not sure. I believe this discount thing is not peculiar to VOs in Nigeria. I live in Vancouver and when I went to renew my visa in 2016. The VO pointed out the discount as well and asked why I was given such a huge discount. I simply answered I didn't know why but paid what I was asked to pay. She also saw the zero balance letter. She immediately switched to why US and not Canada as Canada has better healthcare. I said I wasn't living in Canada then. I think this whole thing is as a result of the current immigration policy(publicly known and unknown) in the US and the number of Nigerians crossing over to Canada seeking asylum. The truth is that Nigeria has been flagged(my opinion). These embassy have their internal policies that are not made public. They can use anything as a reason to deny a visa and will not always voice out the main reason they are denying it.(My opinion) The guy that posted about his already approved US visa denied after a rejection from Canada, its correlated. A family friend and his family had valid US visas and have been to the US on a yearly basis for God knows what. The family applied for a Canadian visa some months ago. They had to withdraw it when they felt it was taking time and already made travel plans to the US.. A week after the withdrawal, they were asked to come to the embassy. The US visas were revoked. It was shocking. They were asked why they withdrew their Canadian visa application. They share information.(FACT) 5 Likes 1 Share |

inizo: Will this consent form be sealed by you or the person delivering on your behalf? It is never advisable to fly internationally with any package you did not seal yourself. That’s one of the first questions you will be asked at screening. 1 Like |
