Thinking out loud: Anyone who has volume (100M and higher) and is looking for a 10-15% increase in value short-term should look no further than Dangote Cement (DangCem). The chart indicates an imminent uptrend and I have noticed a lot of loading between N170 - N176, which means I am not alone in this thought. Hence, the current N170 is an awesome point to jump in, in view of a positive 2H 2019 result.

I might be wrong though, so readers discretion advised.

@BullBearMkt, you are on point with your analysis. I have attached here my analysis on GTBank and I have strong reasons to believe a massive uptrend is in the works based on the day-chart in unison with other indicators.

Also, I strongly doubt if GTBank would get down to 26, which is below the major resistance line, unless 2Q results are disappointing, which I doubt.

Lastly, the 52 week low for GTBank is 26.65, which occurred on the 9th of July this year.

My brother laugh wan tear my belle as I see this your long uptrend line.
GTB will not fly on its own. It is subject to the master, the index.
It is not a waste of effort that oga Intendy is counting 52week low daily grin
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Bomboclad: 8:01pm On Aug 01, 2019
No mind me, as a reservoir engineer by profession, we make long term predictions and as time/market moves, we tune and re-tune, so no mind the long uptrend. The market goes up and down to confuse and re-confuse investors, but it always has a destination.

Shit! NB N56, GTB N27 going to N20. Mehn the economy is further tanking.

The elite are pulling their money codedly from all sectors and investing in Dangote refinery(otedola started codedly 2-3 years ago(my theory though)) while foreign investors are running away from Nigerian altogether (thanks to Buhari and APC).

I said it last year, atiku winning was the only chance NSE had to rebound but to God be the glory.

My little advice, pull your little money away from nse and invest in any concrete business till further notice please. Shorting doesn't go on here! Let's live to fight again.

Zenith bank at that price is understandable, but that UBA seems a little high to me.Didn't you average down at all

In my own opinion, I don't think so. For my side based on my fair price valuation. Uba still cheaper than zenith at their currentprice.

Am actually not comparing zenith bank with UBA,obviously uba has a better/fairer, valuation and prospect (especially in term of capital appreciation) ,am just curious about his average price for UBA(7.45), Considering the fact that UBA 52wk low was around 5.45 (that a huge 36% difference),systematic average down would have been more appropriate, and probably bring the price down to a comfortable level(margin of safety)

FUGAZ TECHNICAL ANALYSIS...
We have seen the outlook of the "G" part of the FUGAZ yesterday. Below are my observations for the remaining:

-FBNH
The stock likely to have found a bottom on daily at 5.56 with its low at 5.4. However the weekly is "trying" to locate its own low with price currently sitting on support created 2 years ago! Bears need more selling power to over-tune this level. Monthly is still bearish but the bears are looking tiring than when they began devouring the bulls.

We are more likely to see reversal to uptrend at the highlighted zone

-UBA
1 of the best out of the FUGAZ in terms of locating its bottom on daily & weekly. Stock might want to re-test 5.74 to see if the support can hold before weekly bulls dominate the market. As the general stocks on NSE, Monthly is still bearish and could force the price into the highlighted zone.

-ACCESS
Arguably the best! Established support at around 5.71 & keeps bouncing of this level anytime it is tested on both daily & weekly. Many Smart Monies will be smiling now trading short term wink We might likely see a touch within the highlighted zone as bears are still prevailing on monthly

-ZENITH
Daily and Weekly are still bearish, but daily bears are soften their claws gradually. Well, once the lower time frame dominated by bears, monthly will be "bearer" - pardon my grammar. In any case, market is expected to react within the highlighted zone on the chart.

The highlighted zones for the stocks indicate a very good level to buy & keep for long term "after market rejects the free fall".

DAILY STOCK MARKET GUIDE FOR 2 AUGUST 2019

MSCI on 1 August still quiet.

Market is behaving according to our plan (profit forecast wise). No need rushing this market, we have to watch the flow, to see the direction that the big money want to take.

With the plan protest by some groups for next week, we should still be in a relaxed mood, whatever any stock gains is likely to be lost by early next week if the protest is successful.

By the end of next week we should be getting a clearer picture of what the real intention of the market will be for those equities that have released their result.

Caution: This is for information purpose only. Data used are assumed to be correct. However, you may want to verify the data from an appropriate source. Also, Institutions can afford to suffer big losses without going burst compared with an individual, you cannot follow them blindly (you need to at least have some knowledge/your own plan). Averaging down in a bear could be very frustrating
You will soon become exhausted
Not only that, the emotional torture of waiting endlessly for the bull which could take several months to even break even. So, instead the wise thing to do is to wait out the bear. Trust me a market that has been bearish since February last year will not just turn bullish over night. The index go siddon yakata for ground well well first.
The people who know how to study bottoms know when the first sign of a bullish breakout announce. Then you buy your stocks and you continue to top it up even as prices move up, hence the phrase 'average up.
The good thing about waiting to trade in a bullish market is that you improve your efficiency, make your profit faster and get out near market tops.

Can I take this as a YES to average down the UBA. But I really prefer Zenith Bank. Just like the majority have advised, I will stay aloof for now. Waiting for the results of the Q2 to see how the market will react to them
