Take it to a technician so that he can carry out a proper test the fact that the system is not powering does not mean the motherboard is gone. jidowu84: |

Hi everyone, I want to upgrade my window 10 from 32 bits to 64 bits,(note: my system is compatible with 64 bits) The Media Creation tool is too heavy to download, I want to know if that media creation tool is available in disk format so I can buy and use it to upgrade my system to 64bits ...thanks |
Re: Post Your Computer (PC) Troubles Here. by Razak5(m): 8:51pm On Jul 31, 2019 |
richie10k: Hello. No. To the best of my knowledge, you will not find it in disk format. However, you can install windows 10-64bits on on your PC by getting the following: 1. A windows 10 installation disk. 2. A Flash drive (8GB) 3. "WinToFlash" software, download here: https://filehippo.com/download_wintoflash/ and install. 4. Another Flash drive (where you'll copy your drivers) 5. A driver's pack DVD. *** Armed with these, let's proceed. *** Insert the win 10 installation disk, plug in your flash drive and run the "win to flash" software. Once the software opens, proceed by using the wizard. Carefully note the source (should be CD drive) of the windows and the destination (select flash drive) of the windows. Allow the wizard handle the rest by clicking next. Once done, close the "wintoflash" program. We now have a win 10 flash drive. Of course you can skip this bit if your laptop has a DVD ROM. **************************** Remove DVD and flash drive, shutdown PC. **************************** Now, plug in the win 10 flash (don't worry you're not being weird ) Power up your PC and select a boot device by pressing F10, F12, F11 or ESC depending on your laptop type and model;; the boot menu loads. Your flash drive will be listed alongside your HDD and others. Using the arrow keys select the flash drive. And hit enter. Wait for windows (in the flash) to load, Agree to terms (which no one cares to read ) then select a 64 bit version of your desired win 10...and click next Everything is pretty much easy at this stage. Until you get to a point where you're asked where you want to install Windows. The attached pix shows this, highlight C: drive and just click next, I repeat ...just click next. Deleting or formatting will make you loose data The link below (not my blog ) shows a simple way to go about it when you get to this point https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.backup-utility.com/windows-10/reinstall-windows-10-without-losing-data-4348.amp.html ****************************** The rest is a rollercoaster ride. Once done, insert the drivers pack disk or the other flash to install drivers. Again you will not need to copy the drivers from DVD to flash if your PC has a DVD ROM. Does the above explanation sound like Greek to you?? Kindly reach me here on 09082687404 if you'd need help for a token.

Hi everyone, is it ok for me to get a Dell latitude D610 for an e-commerce project pending on when funds will be available for higher specs,. Please I need your input, thanks. |
Re: Post Your Computer (PC) Troubles Here. by Razak5(m): 9:19am On Aug 01, 2019 |
nyabingi: Hello. An e-commerce Project!! It'll depend on the aspect of ecomerce you want to focus on. However for a start, I reckon you will be focusing on multiple aspects. The website (particularly some design and integration), accounting and document editing/printing. The above mentioned tasks can be achieved with minimum of Core 2 Duo Processor. Dell Latitude D610 comes in Intel Celeron/Centrino duo processors...so, it's a NO. Not because these programs will not run, but because they will lag seriously! Hence , begin with systems like 1. Dell Latitude D630 2. HP Compaq 6530b 3. Hp ELitebook 6930p And so on These systems will serve but overtime as your work piles up, you'll need something faster (a core i5, i7, i9 or Xeon ) ******* So, d610, no. Ordinary BetNija shops have realized the truth the hard way. Now you are a potential BetNija ( something bigger online)...reconsider your choices. *Cheers* Whilst I'm giving giving advise on systems to choose? I'm also here to peddle my wares. If you'd love to own a PC, Kindly call/WhatsApp on 09082687404 |

coolcentbigman: Your laptop problem have nothing to do with driver installations, your keyboard is faulty and the performance is affecting your mouse. You need to replace your keyboard. If you're in lagos I can help you replace it at an affordable price. |

Re: Post Your Computer (PC) Troubles Here. by coolcentbigman(m): 12:26pm On Aug 02, 2019 |
udemzyudex: I doubt the keyboard is the problem because i just changed a new keyboard not long ago and the keys were working perfectly but suddenly became faulty again and it's not even up to two months, The caps lock doesn't work and the light keeps blinking. So many things is not just right with the system and it also keeps slagging which is why i'm planning to format the system.. |
Re: Post Your Computer (PC) Troubles Here. by coolcentbigman(m): 12:36pm On Aug 02, 2019 |

Re: Post Your Computer (PC) Troubles Here. by coolcentbigman(m): 1:20pm On Aug 02, 2019 |
etech: I used Drivers Easy in updating the drivers but when the the drivers are updated automatically it should stop bringing up those drivers for updating after re-scanning/restarting the drivers. |

Re: Post Your Computer (PC) Troubles Here. by udemzyudex(m): 2:21pm On Aug 02, 2019 |
coolcentbigman: The fact that you change the laptop 2months ago doesn't mean it will last forever. Anyway, I made my own suggestion, you can go ahead and format it and see how it goes. |

etech:Thanks a lot. I have seen the RAM. Was able to use YouTube to locate it but something is not right. From what I saw on YouTube there is a RAM in upper and lower compartments. Mine only has the lower compartment RAM and the upper one is empty... Is this right? |
Re: Post Your Computer (PC) Troubles Here. by etech: 3:17pm On Aug 02, 2019 |
What that means is that you have 2 RAM slot but yours has only 1 RAM installed. so all is well PhilJames: |

etech:Since the 1 RAM installed is OK, I have removed the RAM and put it back in place again but the screen is still not coming on |
