All the superhero shows that debuted this year, namely, The Umbrella Academy, Doom Patrol, Swamp Thing, and lately, The Boys, have been great IMO.

I rank them as thus:

- Doom Patrol
- The Boys
- The Umbrella Academy
- Swamp Thing

Doom Patrol is my best superhero show of the year so far. What a trippy ride. Felt like I was watching Legion at times.

Not really. I'm picky af. I look for certain things in a show, and if it has it/them, then I'm game.

For instance, I don't like Money Heist because of the ridiculous overdramatization, and the humongous plot holes. Strangers Things because of the kid actors, and so on. Also, I rarely watch PG-13 stuff.

Much prefer shows from HBO, Prime, FX, AMC, BBC one and two, Showtime, Netflix (sometimes), Hulu, etc, to the generic stuffs from the NBC, ABC, CBS, and FOX and CW.

Take Anthony Joshua for example.. Man grew up in the UK, speak English with a British accent.. So by your own logic because he has Nigerian parents he should have a Nigerian accent simply because he has Nigerian blood in him?

My point is they spoke English way too eloquently.. These are the little things that matters when it comes to accuracy in movie making.

Under no circumstance should a Chinese who just arrive America speak English that well.. It a plot hole for me. He should have an accent at least.

Just check children attending those expensive schools in Nigerian and their accents. You would think they have a subject called accent. There is nothing Nigerian about how they speak.
