Someone asked about Macau. I don't have detailed info because I haven't spent much time there, but the people seem sweet and progressive. It doesn't seem like "real" China and there seems to be a liberal vibe. They seem like island people, I guess because they're on the coast and they have a lot of foreigners around. The Portuguese influence also slants them away from certain behavior you find elsewhere.

But again, I haven't spent enough time there to give a real report on them.

It doesn't seem like a bad place to do grad school. With all the highly-skilled, experienced international professionals you can meet there, I suspect there's excellent networking opportunities.

Did they conduct interview for you at the embassy? I heard Chinese embassy normally grill students before giving them visa. How true is that?

Shandong University got back to their successful applicants yesterday for scholarship offer.

This screenshot shows that your sister was admitted by the university but no scholarship. As you could see "Chinese Government Scholarship/Not Passed.

Last month, the university rejected the CSC scholarship applications of many applicants who got this university admission called "E-Offer".

I got the PhD CSC scholarship offer from this university yesterday, so, I know what am saying.

Yes. That is what I heard or read online. If the application is not convincing enough to the visa officers, they may decide to not issue visa. Especially source of funds

Pls. How many days or weeks does it take to receive Admission notice and JW202 form in Nigeria.
The school sent me DHL tracking number to track my package and they made me know it has been sent. I tried tracking to know the location but it has been on SHIPMENT INFORMATION RECEIVED for 4 days now.
2 to 3 weeks

FOR THOSE PLANNING FOR CHINESE SCHOOL AND SCHOLARSHIP NEXT YEAR

Dont pay an agent if you want full scholarship. They can help you with admission but not scholarship.
The best they can help u with is partial scholarship. Some are also scammers and many have lose their money.
