Why do you think a friend cannot gift him the funds?Do you know his friend's financial position? Why are you asking him to misrepresent facts by stating that his family gifted him when it is apparently false? There's nowhere it was stated that monetary gift MUST come from family ALONE. Also, some friends are more valuable and supportive than family. Some friends can even be classified as family even if we don't share bloodline. 8 Likes |

You can use more than one NOC. There is no restriction. However, at least one of the work experiences must be for a minimum of 12 months. JWhite2Deep: 1 Like |

Pls how long does it take WES to post verification documents(hard copy) ? Have not gotten mine since June. |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 8 by chygoz3(m): 7:15pm On Aug 04, 2019 |
JWhite2Deep: Yes you can combine experiences across multiple NOCs. However you need to have at least one year continuous experience in your primary NOC. |

I don't know if this has been answered. Yes, WES evaluate CIPM if you have a professional diploma. smilizangi: 1 Like |

Appreciation:To everyone who has contributed to making this thread a very useful one, thank you. I decided to do this first because I owe about 90% of all I did to this forum. I am grateful to you all for the wealth of information here. Decision to migrate – July 2018 WES I paid on July 24, sent a mail to my school with details and they posted transcripts to WES, DHL delivered to WES 31st July, but only received mail from WES that all documents had been received on the 23rd of August. Assessment was ready by Sept 12. Similar process for Spouse’s WES. IELTS I wrote my exams October 13 with LSRW: 8.5,7.5,7,6… I was eating and I HONESTLY lost appetite the day I saw these results; the dreaded writing! I still remember where I sat when I saw it… I started thinking plenty things, I wrote part 1 with a pen because I was more comfortable with it, by the time I saw this result, I was sure it was one of the reasons I did not pass….lol. I re registered immediately, but over that weekend, I had a meeting with my God and that changed everything. Requested a remark for writing and by 16th November, writing remark came back upgraded from 6 to 7! Spouse IELTS :LRWS– 6,6.5,6.5,7.5 Needless to say I had to practically force him to take IELTS, he gave me the money and we agreed a date, he kept postponing the date and I had to take mine without him, until I told him I had paid, he had no option! 75k no be beans…. I also paid for his WES when he kept posting me, before I got the money back weeks later, so you see, you gotta keep at it. ITA We dived into the pool on the 1st of December with 442, hoping for a Miracle for low cut off the next few days or we would have to rewrite IELTS. By 19th December, the miracle draw of 439 gave us ITA. Medicals Medicals was done in February with Qlife, I went to their office with my ITA to book. We arrived there about 6am on the test day as the 2nd on the queue. We eventually left 12pm/1pm because…… Hubby has a little history of HBP, so his reading had to be taken 3 times, I must say doctor was really nice, he asked him to rest/relax a bit and come back. He also asked him to go do creatinine test to rule out other things. That came back negative and the final BP reading was within allowed limits for BP. It was not a funny thing o, the guy was sweating inside AC…..lol . Then a few days later, Qlife called that he needed to redo his Xray, because it wasn’t clear…. Hehe village people, how far now ![]() PCC (Nigeria) was at Alagbon for N3,500 each, spent about an hour. Then, we both requested UK PCC. Spouse had his MBA in block modes from the UK and had to visit every few months to take lectures although he never spent more than 3 weeks at a go. So we initiated his UK PCC, basically to sleep better. However the placeholder for UK PCC came up at some point then disappeared, but eventually, i think it wasn’t required, I however merged both. Whatever makes you sleep well….. POF We used: • Tbills and Mutual funds from Axa Mansard (Axa Mansard gave us a letter showing all funds in CIC format) • Mutual savings/insurance from spouse and I (We asked them to give us a letter in CIC format) • Letters from our banks in CIC format. We didn’t print statements since we had the letters in CIC format from GTB. We also didn’t present a joint account and did not move money to my account, so we just wrote a consent letter that I have access to all funds for this purpose. Having learnt from here, I did a summary page with a breakdown of each document on the first page and the amount (Naira and CAD equivalent) in all of the financial documents for ease of reference. Page 1- Summary of Documents and value Page 2- Spouse consent letter Subsequent pages – everything else from both of us Name Change I had small headache about this…..My father changed his last name when I was in secondary school so did I, but I have no legal document to myself asides his own document for change of name which I uploaded as proof. I once had serious issues with this outside Nigeria so I also had an LOE to explain that the change of name was when I was a minor and it was not necessary to have a legal name change to myself at the time. I had also also attached my birth certificate somewhere in the application with our former surname, plus my dad’s current passport data page. I am still using my maiden name so I did not have to present any other legal name change document. Reference letter I did my JD myself and sent to HR to do the letter. I attached my 6 months’ pay slips and wrote an LOE (first page) that I was just promoted so my salary on the letter from HR at the time would be different from what is on all my payslips since I had not been paid the new salary. I also attached the promotion letter. Post ITA We submitted on the 13th February, and received AOR same day. March 30th I got an ADR for Schedule A, at this point, I was wondering why, was it because I stated that I worked with the Government in England but this was just civil service, nothing serious. I wondered if it was UK visa refusal (spouse and I had one refusal each), or maybe because I didn’t state the jobs I had with agencies in my personal history, but that was during my Msc so it would overlap, anyway, I submitted it March 6th, I was going to attach my UK refusal letter but I never found it till recently. I was also worried my travel history might land me in LVO or It may take a bit longer to process my application. MEP arrived April 10, we completed it on the 24th, and that was the last time we heard from CIC till PPR. I later raised webform to know my VO and received response a week later on July 5. So, I already told myself I wouldn’t bother with gcms until after 6 months, but as I began to hear things like NOC wahala, i was secretly changing my resolve o. Then my friend who lives in Canada also encouraged me to, and offered to do it. I filled the form on June 19 and she sent it. July 23, she sent a mail asking why there was a delay as it was past 30 calendar days, next day, GCMS was sent and all that was passed was criminality (as at June 20)! I saw something like case parked due to schedule A bla bla, and I am like okay, let’s carry mat. June 16th we decided to pay RPRF as it wasn’t paid when we submitted, so I was surprised when it was not reflecting in the GCMS but I figured it had not been reviewed. I am not the regular profile checker so once in a week or 2, I check. I did not notice a ghost update too as I did not check my profile for about a week before I saw request letter in my email, and then logged in to see there had been a ghost update but no letter yet, even as at now, just the email from Ottawa. On July 25, a few people reported ghost update in my group so I tried to log in at night without success, and went to bed at about 11pm. Woke up and just as I was about to step out for work, I decided to check my work mail, What I saw made me late to work lol, PPR had landed the night before at about 10:28pm, while I was battling with logging in to the site. To God be all the Glory, I did not have the most perfect application neither did I know it all, I am just a product of mercy…. I pray for success in everyone’s application. Good morning house, please I need clarification concerning gift deed, although I have gone through several post, I haven't gotten exactly what I needed. I want to know if the statement of account of the person giving you a gift is required ( or any explanation as to how they got the money). I need to know before I go ahead with the gift deed. If there is anyone who has used a100% gift( or any percent what so ever) without submitting the donors bank statement please enlighten me. Thank you. |

Thanks
Hello, those seeking 2 or more certificates may want to register for Unilag HRDC Advanced Diploma in Business Administration. Classes have resumed and supplementary registration closes on Friday. The Form is just #7500. We just rounded off and we are currently expecting our ECA report. You may want to register and join classes while you wait for an update on our evaluation outcome. It could also be a great backup for those enrolled in other programs as classes are for Saturdays only and tuition is not required immediately. 1 Like 1 Share |
I have been following the thread for a while now and I wrote IELTS GT (MOD IDP) for the first time on July 6, 2019. Thankfully, the result came out as LRWS 9, 9, 7.5, 8.5 I would like to share some tips on the listening part. I understand it may not work for some but I think it helped me. I used Cambridge books to prepare and increased the speed of audio playback (on exam day, the audio felt slower and I had more time to focus). It was difficult initially but I soon got used to listening to the audio, following the questions, and taking notes at the same time. Before the narrator starts, I skim through the questions, underline key words and think of synonyms while predicting possible answers (or the format the answers could take). Sometimes, there are 'false start' answers; where the narrator corrects the answer while narrating Congrats, please can you share the materials with me. Email is peackersay@yahoo.com 4 Likes |
