Hello, I also got two appointment letters. One looks very genuine and long but the other mail was just short like four lines...There is only a single day interval between both so i am planning to go on both days. Saysay01: |

I think you should go on both days. My first day (Today) had my passport number, my applictaion number and was well detailed. My other date(Wednesday) was a 3 liner message just saying "Come for your interview on this day and by this time. Paulinus was an ass who insisted that "I am lying" since computer cannot make mistake. I was suppose to be the second student. I was delayed. He took my passport and today print out inside, came back and told me to leave the premises with no explanation whatsoever. One of the mopol now pointed out that 07/08 was scribbled on the cancelled printout. He said I should come back on 7th. t heeedreeez: |

Itemized questions please help respond if you are aware of the scenarios. Help us!! 1. Please who has booked an Appointment this August for CAT A with November as enrollment date and got and AD? 2. Please is there anybody on CAT B for winter that has gotten appointment lately? 3. For the Egbons of previous years already in Germany, or about going please How is these CAT B wait like? 4. Where does the confirmation of your CAT A or CAT B end (is it with Paulinus or the VO will still vet your details) 5. i. If you made a mistake while booking an for AD on your passport number, (inputted old passport number or phone number) and you are given AD, can you change it on your VISA application paper form and explain what went wrong? ii. Is it only Paulinus that checks for this error or the VO still checks too. 6. Please those that booked after that July date with 2.2 to CAT B started, please on your AD letters, do you have 2.2 for CAT A or CAT B. 7. For those that cancel, and were able to rebook. Please how long did it take? when did you cancel? when did you rebook? what time of the day (is it still 1.15 to 1.20am)? My plead is loaded with "pleases". Please for all those with experience on this let us know what we are not doing right. Please (Biko, Ejo, Danla) help answer these questions, some of us are getting tired already. Seems all we are doing is wrong... Help!! |

Hello, I'm also in the 2nd situation. I booked for appointment at the embassy on the 24th of June. I booked for category B and I filled in October 8th to be in Germany although my school's placement test is on the 17th of October. Is it OK that I haven't gotten an appointment date yet? And when does anyone think I'm gonna get the appointment date?. I applied for a studienkolleg but I got a language admission instead, so I'm using that for the embassy. bjayNL: |

Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by Adhheir: 4:32pm On Aug 05, 2019 |
bjayNL: Hi brother, I understand your distress and I'll advice to be mild to yourself, keep hoping and never stop praying. 3. The German Embassy in Nigeria introduced categorizing in may this year, its nascent and people already In Germany do not have this experience and cannot answer your question from experience. 4. The Vo confirms your category, an appointment at the embassy gets you through Paulinus. Your VO asks the Category you booked and how you qualify for it. 5. Go with both old and new passports if you have it or a copy of the old passport biographical page and the new passport. You use the new passport number on the visa application (all applications). You might have a lil trouble with Paulinus at first but be rest assured it'll be sorted and you'd have your interview. I leave the remaining question to people with the experience. Hang in there bro, the anxiety can be overwhelming...take care 3 Likes |

Hello everyone! Please. I applied to 4 different schools for this winter semester for the studienkolleg. I've gotten admission for 2 schools but the letters came in late so I can't meet up for the placement test again. The third one, I was offered a language prepatory course instead of studienkolleg while the 4th school hasn't sent anything but that's not the issue. The issue is that for the language prepatory course, the placement test is on the 17th of October. I booked for appointment at the embassy on the 24th of June,I filled in October 8 to be in Germany. Its August already and I haven't gotten any feedback from the embassy only my reference number. Is it OK that I haven't gotten an appointment date yet or there's a problem somewhere? And when does anyone think I'm gonna get the appointment date?... Please someone should update me because rn my mum has totally lost hope. |

You could have simply attached a copy of ur visa receipt along with the blocking confirmation. I know a fella who was asked by the v.o to send them both through their email. Freeman59: |
Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by Adhheir: 4:40pm On Aug 05, 2019 |
Sahmyhandsome: Language admission as in an admission to study Deutsch in Germany? If I'm correct, I'll advice you to abort mission and get a proper admission. Or a conditional admission that admits you to an STK after you've learnt the language to some level, this doesn't come without some prior language (Deutsch) proficiency. Language admission implies language visa, (not student visa) which is quite hard to obtain cos there's Goethe institute in Nigeria. Why travel the distance and spend much more when you'd still come back to apply for proper student visa which is the ultimate goal (this are the questions that requires answers). Sahmyhandsome: I can see Its a condition admission. Send a mail to your school to see If they could extend further or get a new placement test date much further from the initial one and use the new date to rebook a new appointment after you cancel the old one. You've been on the queue for a while, maybe try November? |
