Finally got the secret thanks to a guy here.

Simply set the target sim to your default browsing sim, then turn on airplane mode.
Dial the code to force it to LTE only.
Then turn on network. Here comes 4G. angry

Guys am i the only one noticing proximity sensor not working on my redmi note 7.. especially when i making WhatsApp calls and i bring the phone closer to my ear.. the screen doesn't go blind..and it makes my ear to accidentally press things on the phone while on call.. mind you i just got this device 3days ago.. so how do i go about it to fix this pls

yeah... just connect to a WiFi network then you're good to go. If after this you still face a challenge connecting on mobile data, put network on 4g and be sure your playstore isn't set to WiFi only in store settings or restricted in phone settings (manage app)

click on gallery, then select album. Then click on the album you want to view in photos a dialogue box pops up as attached. Then click show in photos...

Open playstore and tap your recent apps button ( the button at the left) to access recent apps, hold down playstore, then select the 'settings' icon, clear all data from there, then go back and open playstore, you should be fine.

Not near perfect, the ocassional 2% battery drop is still on as well as higher cell standby percent usage.

maybe MIUI 11 would fix all of that hopefully then

2% drop? I haven't noticed that. Maybe cause I have stable power supply in my location.

Do u experience this bug dt when ur battery dies completely and wanna charge from 0percent with phone off, the battery starts charging from 13%. Was kinda weird when I saw this last week boss

Stop allowing your battery to run all the way down to zero, that's one assured way to wreak your battery faster.

It's better you shutdown your phone if it gets critically low say 10% and you have nowhere to charge than let it go off.

Open playstore and tap your recent apps button ( the button at the left) to access recent apps, hold down playstore, then select the 'settings' icon, clear all data from there, then go back and open playstore, you should be fine.
