Despite that, classy players will choose Chelsea ahead of Arsenal any day any time because trophies are guaranteed.

Coutinho wey run go Barcelona thinking em go win Champions league, not knowing Liverpool is more successful than Barcelona. grin
You sound like a broken record!!! How many classy players have chosen Chelsea over Arsenal. Just shut up already

It was roused up by Arsenal board of directors to improve the appeal of the club and lure top defenders
How does signing Coutinho lures top defenders? Oga reason well now

Rohr reveals what will happen to Samuel Chukwueze next year

Head coach of the Super Eagles, Gernot Rohr has tipped Samuel Chukwueze to “explode” next year.
Speaking with SportingLife, Rohr however advised the Villarreal winger to become more business-like in his approach to the game.
The German also identified the areas he wants Chukwueze to work on, to become a complete world-class star.
“(Samuel) Chukwueze is improving. He showed it against South Africa during the last AFCON in Egypt. But he still needs to improve more.
“He is now 20 years old and full of football talents and skills. He has a wonderful left foot, good dribbling skills, and good mobility. He is a great player for the future. I think he should be a very important player for the Eagles in future.
“He, however, needs to work more on these lapses. Mentally and physically, Chukwueze has to improve.

“When I saw him arriving for the Algeria match after performing well against South Africa, I told him, my little boy, you now have a new hairstyle and you want to look beautiful for the (Algeria) game. I told him, yes I understand. It is okay.
“I said yes your hairstyle is so nice but we are not here (in Egypt) to look beautiful but we are there for football war. Its a fight and a fierce fight against these great African teams like Algeria and our aspirations is to win the match.
“I told him to show me he can do it. I told him to use his heart for the game but not the new hairstyle.

“So there is still this understanding the issue regarding a high level of competition, to do well in big matches. So the match against Algeria was very hard for him because he is still young and learning the ropes. But it’s normal anyway.
“I want him (Chukwueze) to win time not to waste time in match situations. I want him to take his actions quickly. I believe by next year (2020) he will be fully ready for the fight to move up to greater responsibility and also excel for club and country,” Rohr said.

With Coutinho set to join arsenal, I just hope Iwobi's chances will not be too affected, because that attack line will be dripping with quality and Ozil has been impressive lately
I'd love that move to happen but I think it's his agent pushing this (dude is also Edu's agent and is an Arsenal fan).
Anyways - Ozil will leave in less than 2 years so it's not that much of a problem.
Iwobi needs to step up.

Iwobi needs to assert himself and pinpoint his position to the coach

Enough of being Jack-of-all-trades

This makes no sense or whatsoever. We got Ceballos from Madrid without all that so why would we need it to get the likes of Upamaceno and Rugani??
Anyway this is all agent talk. I'd welcome the move but not at the expense of an LB.

AM is his best position and I'll like him not play 20 EPL games in that position

Not playing winger for club and attacking midfielder for country

Omeruo knows his own value, that is why he has been on loan for Chelsea for almost 10 years now.

We understand he is now a family man, so making money is his priority, but Chukwueze is still young and doesn't have a wife or kid, so, money should not be his priority, but career growth.

The money will come in due time, whether it is in EPL or La Liga. Messi snd CR7 were collecting small money when they were just starting their careers and they got pay rises as their career profile rose. Omeruo can not make the kind of money those guys are making, till the end of his career, and it is because he was interested in money when he should have been interested in career growth.

Chukwueze does not need such advice.

Victor Moses went through and is going through the same situation. Chelsea have dozens of players on loan so you can't use this to diss Omeruo because after all he has been at 2 world cups and even has won an AFCON. He has had the best career so far amongst our defenders no cap.

Kenneth is not a coach and nether is he a scout so you can't expect him to be giving technical advice. As a Nigerian player you should want Samu to take the best deal possible because that is why you play the game. Like I said messi was earning millions as a teenager so lets not act like money isn't important. Even the lad knows that and this is why he signed with Roc nation for his management.

The attacks on Omeruo are uncalled for even if he is wrong he is coming from a place of love. How does a player who signed for Chelsea now look like a money grabber? If he went to Bulgaria you would be saying what?

It is unlikely that you'll sign the duo, Upamaceno is too costly and Juventus don't want to sell Rugani

At that age people would go out partying after a big match. Papa Rohr needs to understand that this is the lesser of evils.

It's seems coutinho's management team is discussing a possible loan move with man untd and spurs. United also discussing with spurs to sign dannish midfielder ericken in a cut down price of 60m. He just have a yr left in his contract and doesn't wish to continue with spurs

When it comes to player management Rohr is very good at that. What he is telling samu on the long run is to work harder to fulfill the promise he has shown in his first season of top flight football.

Samu is a dynamite waiting to explode and needs the right pple around him to actualize that

Yes I read that part but that was not what I was talking about. I was talking about the part about the hair cut. That should not even be a conversation. If you watched Samu last season you will know he gets a cut before almost every match and so bringing that up to the lad put undue pressure on him. I remember when Carzola was praising him for his professionalism, this is not someone who will let his accomplishments get to his head.

This is the same thing Rohr did to Iheanacho and it backfired woefully
