charlesemeka85: Two things here either Omeruo is arguably at best very average for a full Nigerian international for the past 7 years. Or there isn't much money in the lower half of La Liga. Because €4.5 million is a joke, or maybe I've got it wrong. l just expected transfer fees for a full international player to be a lot more than that in La Liga. The Championship will pay a lot more for a quality center back. |

daveP: Can not argue with that. In reality it's open season anybody can make a claim.by putting in consistent top quality performances in club and league. So the so called front runners may end up being in the background as other players take the limelight. It's going to be very interesting. |

Allnigeriasoccer.com has been informed that promising Stade Rennais midfielder Lesley Ugochukwu has opted to represent Nigeria at international level ahead of France. The 2004-born player is targeting a call-up to the Golden Eaglets ahead of the 2019 FIFA U17 World Cup. Ugochukwu is on the radar of some of the most glamorous clubs in France and Rennes had to offer him a new deal in their attempt to fend off interest from their rivals. The 15-year-old is expected to ink a three-year professional contract at the end of the 2019-2020 season. Blessed with excellent physical attributes, powerful and tall for his age, Ugochukwu has been likened to former Arsenal captain Patrick Vieira. The highly-rated teenager, who is comfortable playing as a defensive and attacking midfielder, has the full blessings of his father to play international football for Nigeria. Ugochukwu has been promoted to Rennes U17 side for the upcoming season. |
