Hmm people should be careful with transactions please , everything u need is online, no one is that dumb, u can do it ursef please, wen it comes to money, DO IT YOURSELF, because of high BP, that's all.

When I put out this post, it was pretty difficult to do the bank transfer from Nigeria, in fact even from bro in Olso too few ppl tried to contact me. No scam was intended. Transfer is straight forward now so long as you hv a domiciliary account. In other news, I will be in Trondheim in August 10th, orientation is starting 12th at NTNU.

. The kind of confidence you speak with ehhhh, one would think you’re speaking from experience.

It takes over a month at least for the funds to be available. Like @olujastro said , it depends on how fast you finish your police registration and get you Social security number then open a bank account, mine got ready in October (3months)

And again, there is no restriction when the funds get to your account, you can send any amount to any account anywhere you like

how can one start the admission process?
is there a general body/organization like we have JAMB here in 9ja that oversees the process
or
is it the university that sets the process?
please i need urgent answer.
anybody who knows how i can start the application can answer.
i want to study in Norway.

Please guys, this is urgent. I intend to apply to NTNU masters in Chemical Engineering. I have a degree in chemical engineering with second class upper (2.1). Now the problem is NTNU requires a degree in Engineering and minimum of 30 ECTS in Mathematics and Statistic the issue of 30 ECTS is what I don't understand, haven't heard of anything like ECTS in our undergraduate courses, someone should help me clarify this...
Add up the credit hours you have in mathematics, calculus and statistics. You must have at least 30 credit hours before you can apply for that program

Google Universities in Norway, choose any program you are interested in and follow through. It's not difficult. Admission process starts Oct/Dec depend on the school calendar. Norway has a central admission process https://fsweb.no/soknadsweb/velgInstitusjon.jsf All the Universities will link you to Soknadsweb. Good luck

Bro, I have a couple of questions to ask

1. How much is application fee? Does it vary per university and course

2. How much is Visa fee?

3. Is it easy to get jobs in Norway while studying?

4. Can the jobs be able to cover for the next tuition fee and have some savings?

5. How is job security after study in Norway?

6. How much would be in my account before entering Norway? Is it going to be in a Norwegian account or my Nigerian account?

7. Do I have to pay school fees and accomodation fee before visa?

8. Can I apply for Bsc with my HND and TOEFL?

I know the questions are much but PLEASE kindly help me answer it. It will help me a lot and so many persons following this thread

I am not sure you can withdraw the entire amount. From what I understand with block account, the 5m would be divided by 12, the number of months in a year, and will be paid or given back to you in monthly bits.

With the little research I did, I think you have a better chance in Germany.

Good evening everyone
I must say its been a good Job done here so far and I am honestly impressed, having read from page 1 to this last page I honestly do not want this beautiful and helpful forum to die.
I hold a degree in Parasitology and Entomology with a Cgpa of 4.05 and I would like to try Norway but I am scared about jobs over there now. Financial requirement is really not my problem as I gently took care of them owing to the prior informations gotten from here.
Now my questions

1) Do I Stand a chance to be admitted,
2) How marketable are courses such as Biology, Molecular biology, Microbiology, and Public Health in Norway. Can I get a job after school in such fields.
3) Can I start up a good business with maybe 6m aside the needed school funds? Maybe Importation of stuffs into Nigeria as a student.
4) Is still easy to get a permanent resident permit so I can bring my wife over there since we want to get married before I leave.

Thanks to everybody for their contributions and I pray the Good Lord continue to guide our steps.
1. You stand a good chance to be admitted with your CGPA provided you meet the requirements of prerequisite courses needed from your Bachelor's to gain admission into each master's program.
2. From the little I know about my friends who studied Biochemistry here, they have not had opportunities in the job market. One of them is trying to branch into HSE. Engineering and IT dominate the Norwegian job market. Also, knowledge of Norwegian language is required to work in the health sector as a doctor or nurse for example, but in the lab you may not need Norwegian language.
3. I don't think you can. Study permit does not allow you to be self-employed. You can only work as an employee.
4. If you read through the pages well you'll see my comment that says....you must get a professional job after studying and work for 3yrs to qualify for Permanent Residence in Norway.

Thank you for this vital info.

Pls I have a question regarding the 121220 Nok( roughly 5m) that will be paid to the school.

My question: will that money cover 1 year accommodate fees?
