In why did you pick EIU, you just said the words on the schools website. You really shew no reason for choosing EIU.
Which school has no Diverse Culture? Or which school doesn't have dedicated faculty?

From your first 10 words the VO know if you're making sense or not.

What will this degree do for you?
Another disconnect. You're talking about your Father's business when you're not going for MBA.

Cybersecurity ?

Why this school and Why this course was enough for the VO to make his decision. And that Window 9 VO is very thorough.

Contact your school and inform them of your situation.. So they are on standby to defer if you cannot get Early date before resumption.

seems there is a problem with the finance too. He didn't go with an SOA that covers the total cost.

Book abuja and try to get an expedited appointment, if it is rejected, I would advise you not to go for the interview cos the probability of being approved one day before your resumption date is like 5% so you can defer to spring but you can try if you want cos life is about trying.

I dont agree with this, one can always try his luck because I went to the interview after my school already resumed but all i need to do is to request for an extension letter from my school. I was previously denied so I got a new date and I was approved.

Ok,Why not the school in Canada? Why choosing Canada over the US?
Your points on why the school is long-winded.
Yes,it is good to build relationships with your faculty members but not exactly a strong point.
You should remove that and go this direction:
Because of the excellent curriculum includes internships, govt simulation sessions known as MIG ,Bleep, yyy, that will mould me as an expert in ZZZ.
Then ,add other points.
Read more about the course, the faculty members and their achievements. How will their achievements help you?You talked about your research how will this research help your career plans..

First of all I said the probability is like 5% not 0%. Secondly I also said life is about trying. Thirdly you had an assistantship and you met a lenient VO, most VOs are not lenient and what if the VO wants to confirm his/her bank statement, where is the time?
Fourthly I know someone who had an assistantship to Austin peay with 5k deficit and was denied twice for this reason. First interview was one day to resumption, second one was five days to resumption. I've also been a victim of this. Refusing to answer questions frankly and objectively on this forum is only going to make people pile up denial history which is not good. It's best to interview when your odds are high not low.

To those on AP, the best thing you can do now is to take your mind off it and channel your energy into something else. I have been there and I know how crazy it could be. Let me tell you how mine went. I was placed on AP for 10 business days (2 weeks) and the moment was full of 'drama'. My status showed AP for three days after my interview and then changed to DENIED. I was confused because my interview went well and the document withheld for confirmation was MY SCHOOL CERTIFICATE (BS). Strange? I know right. Then afterwards, it changed back to AP and then ISSUED.

To be honest, I knew I had done a lot of hard work to get myself to that point and couldn't allow stupid AP put me down. The moment I saw DENIED, I started preparing myself for another interview because I told myself I AIN'T THROWING IN THE TOWEL ... WE DIE THERE! I was now praying for my certificate to get returned so that I could start a new process. Na long story but let me stop here.

Be that as it may, you guys have been through a lot before getting to the point of AP. Take mind off it and focus on something else! Definitely, it shall end in praise.... Nothing do you jare.. bless up

Sorry for any typo, typing on motion blah blah blah

You were actually issued.
The Denied was an error from the operator.

Its like a drop box where you select options and you click on the wrong option.

Good day, this is Adenle Habeeb.
The challenge I am experiencing on MTU admittance is funny. Kindly advise me.
After expecting I-20 documents twice, which led to deferral, I had to use my money to request for the document by Eship Global for #35,000. I had to hurriedly apply for VISA process. I was expected to resume school by 25th August but the Embassy in Lagos gave me an appointment date on 29th August. In other to seek for an expedited date, I tried paying SEVIS fee through a friend in the state. Unfortunately, the payment status is still pending till today. I was told that it could be challenge from Western Union and they promise to return the money in 7 days time. What do you think I should do as the department is already asking me about the status of my visa process.

Me : Good morning
VO : Morning pass me your passport and I-20
VO : Oh Michigan Tech
Me :Yea
VO : Mechanical Engineering for your master's degree
Me : Yea
VO : Same mechanical as an undergrad?
Me :Yea
VO : What was your hardest course (wasn't expecting this)
Me : Advanced Heat and Mass transfer
VO : Why this course and which topic?
Me: I was thought most of the theoretical part of the course in school although it had a practical part. Xo due the theoretical knowledge I have only for this course makes it difficult for me. And the topic that was quite challenging was Radiation.
VO : What part of radiation?
Me: Black body and di-electric.
VO : Your Aunt is sponsoring you?
Me : Yea sure
VO : why is she sponsoring you.
Me : Fiammmmmm everything I wanted to say don fly comot, was mixing words at this point. I just looked at the VO and told him am tensed up, he smiled I took in two deep breaths and with a smile I delivered my speech. Apart from the fact that she sponsored my part of my undergraduate study, she's a business woman and we have similar interest, she owns lots of American vehicles which she uses for business mist times I maintain these vehicles because I have the necessary tools and skill, so I them told her about my plans to gain more skills and setup my own auto repair shop. She believes in my abilities and thinks with proper training and certifications I can do better and manage my own auto repair shop. She also bought the idea on the condition that I will also maintain her cars.(smiling).
VO : What's s she into?
Me: She's into real estate, oil and gas, she owns alot of gas station in the country.
The VO just reached out his hands to the white paper, saying the usual stuff and the words doing the usual in from one ear and out from the other. I just collected the paper and left.

Thanks y'all once again, for those preparing for their visa interview I wish you success. Preparation begets confidence, confidence begets success.
