okay. let me weigh in here on this policy issue.

Every action that is undertaken by any organisation is embedded/driven in/by a policy.

However, a policy is an internal document that can be amended at will by the organisation to reflect current market realities.

so even if NNPC was paying before, they cud decide to amend their policy to reflect what they want to achieve. E.g decide not to pay again and remove it from their compensation policy.

in the light of the above, TFARE reimbursement is not a right. they can decide what they want to do.

However, the act of paying is definitely in their compensation policy. To what extent they have amended it to cover now is what we dnt know.

Even Corporate social responsibility has a policy.

Thanks for explaining further but I disagree with your claim of TFARE reimbursement not being a right. How about we rephrase it with respect to what policies are - a deliberate strategic statement of intent passed by the senior management or governing body of an organization. Hence, it is the duty of every personnel bound by that policy to comply just as it is expected of anyone who is given the duty to reimburse applicants to do so.

Do you know a breach in policy attract penalties...

This is more about the NNPC being accountable by judiciously carrying out one her duties.

Where are the auditors and internal control guys in the house?

You have point with regards uncertainty concerning the policy in place for this years recruitment and I believe I actually made mention to Gbyms that if he has never been reimbursed for an interview, it is due to the company's policy that such an act is not recognized.

I made sure i got the contact details of everyone there, in summary, the first person that interviewed has been paid, the last person has been paid. They were both paid last week, I haven't been paid, someone else has also not been paid and we're in-between them on the list. So what is really happening?


Is there really no correlation between APL and TP? If there isn't, why go through this stress of paying everybody with this scattergun approach? because this method is actually more stressful and error prone than paying in an orderly manner.

Let's say the only thing /event going on in Nnpc is the recruitment ( does that even make sense )
Nnpc with various dept( with various units) ,each has an ongoing exercise, exercise ( with various claims ) .
So we expect Nnpc Finance and Account dept to halt every other responsibility and payments until TF reimbursement(which isn't even the main aim of the process o) is sorted ?(I'm just thinking out loud o) .

Whilst u guys probably interviewed serially, u probably won't have written ur names on the same sheet for account details. because the sheet was not for a specific department /course. So when the first person did and went to write his/her name, others from different panels would have written also before u finished ur interview. And I recall the sheet of paper wasn't a long one.

Just be calm and let things unfold. Dnt know how we can possibly change anything now, than to wait for the outcome backed by prayers. All things are possible.

That settles it. There's a correlation between TF and APL. What's the correlation? Only time will tell.
