If payment has stopped trickling down, a necessary but insufficient condition for Tfare and APL to be related would be that there exists an arbitrary panel, P such that all the 6 candidates in P have been paid. Because (9000/6 =1500) is greater than 1300(speculated number to be recruited). I don't think anyone has suggested the existence of such a panel up till now.

To understand my point, look at it this way: if in all panels at least one person is not paid, and these are the ones that would be called. It would mean that 1/6 of the total candidate pool of 9000 which is 1500(greater than the speculated number(1300) of people to be recruited) will receive APL which is in opposition to wide spread speculation that 1300 or less candidates would be recruited.

Nnpc it's not the way you guys look at it.. before money is been disburse it must be approved and moreover this is not the first recruitment process they have done.. so my dear is better for u to watch and pray u get apl

A friend scheduled for 4th got there late, and according to him, he pleaded with them laying his reasons for late coming....las las, all they did was to collect his credentials and write his details for reimbursment.
So he was invited, went for it and had apparently no interview section ( i guess he is better now, now on a Research Assistantship in UTM Malaysia) . We still chat, he has not been paid.

Again, if you were interviewed on the 3rd, you could probably notice a man, yes, a man, 28 years....in GT category...his age was used to disqualify him while his NPC was checked.

Yes I was paid 40k for attending the 2011 interview in June 2012. I went to Abuja from Lagos. This time around, I have seen here that they paid Lagos people 20k. Does it not also make us wonder if something has changed?
I received 40k in 2012 as well. I attended the interview from Lagos.

I cant seem to point out any 5th July that has been paid. if no one here on this platform from 5th has been paid. Nairaland may not be a good sample size. But i expect at least one person from 5th here to have been paid to even suggest that there is a correlation.

First of all how many folks that interview on the 5th are here. You can't judge when the sample size is not up to 50 here.

I did on the 6th. And the sheet we used in filling our account details had the serial numbers on our tags given to us at the point of accreditation. We were asked to look for the number and write our details in front of it. Other 6th-ians can verify this.

Best candidates were selected every day of the interview process; their total gives the top 1% merit (or 2% as the case may be) at the end of the interview process.
Initially I was thinking there was no connection between Transport fee and appointment letter, but it seems the list of successful candidates has been sorted/separated from that of non-successful ones, leading to the separate methods of payment. However, nobody fully knows the truth Until APL is released.
DISCLAIMER: NNPC wants candidates with skills, qualities and exceptional achievements and those are the ones entering the merit list.

But I don't believe u tho. How possibly is it that you guys were tracking each other throughout and after the interview? You mean you guys even wrote names same time while some minutes were taken by members of the panel before next invitee is called into the room?.... Lol. Maybe you traced the names of that colleague before writing urs or u waited for him/or her to know the paper he/she wrote on and ascertain the position.

Don't confuse yourself. I did my interview on the 6th and i didn't use any tag number to write my account number or so. We only used our tag number when we are about to enter Amphil theatre.
