justwise:Boss. I don't want to argue before they say I am abusing them. What I know is that a lot of working guys have been sponsored for visit visa with valid reasons and I have seen successful application. Different things and circumstances is taking when visa is approved. What works for A might not necessarily work for B. LIFE NA PER HEAD 1 Like |

giselle237: Sweetheart I never said minimum every one should budget is 400k. Every body case is different. Your budget depends on your monthly salary. I am referring to the poster budget. We are trying to reduce the budget because of his two month salary is not not sufficient for the trip. He earns 155k . For two months is 310k. After removing 270k or 280k for flight money is remaining 40k or 30k which is small. So by the time we add accommodation and living expenses how much will be evry one’s travel budget... maybe 600k .. Your budget depends on the duration you want to spend in the UK. Usually booking for accommodation can make your budget go up. But there are alternatives ways u can reduce it. 1. you can book a cheaper hostel instead of hotel. 2. You can reduce the number of your stay. E.g If you want to stay for three weeks, u can reduce it to two weeks to reduce your budget.( Make sure u stay the duration of time stated in the application) 3. If you have a relative or friend that can invite you, and take care of your accommodation and living expenses, it reduces your budget. Moreso, before you want to take care of all expenses by your self, u must be earning above 250k monthly to take care of all expenses for your trip. E.g A person earning 300k monthly and decide to travel to the UK for 2weeks. The person have to make atleast a budget of 500 to 600k Total cost of trip to the uk is 600k Flight fare= 270k Accommodation= 76k The remaining amount for living expenses, visiting sightseeing, tourist attractions and shopping. |

toperino: Budget atleast 400k for 10 OR 14days trip. Flight =270k The remaining amount for living expenses. |

Hello House, I want to apply for U.K visa to go for a training sponsored by my company. I had earlier wanted to sponsor myself but on discussing with my boss, the company decided to take it up fully. Is it advisable I apply personally while the company reimburse me later or should the company pay the training fee directly while I also fill same in my form? I am married with kids and I have been working with the company for a while now. Also my company merged with a group, hence salary is either paid from the 2 accounts till all legal issue is sorted. Will this also pose any problem? I humbly await your input. Thanks |

Hello @justwise and other gurus in the house, Am new here and i need your advise before i apply for my UK visit visa. I’m currently in South Africa doing my masters degree and i plan to go to the UK for a 2weeks visit. I have my friend who is working in the UK and going to help with an invitation letter stating he ll be responsible for my accommodation and feeding. 1. What other documents does he have to send to me? 2. I have a balance of 30000 rands (750k) in my SA account and also have 300k in my naija account plus i have a School partial funding. Apart from my proof of studentship and permit, what other relevant documents do i need to attach as a student and also can i use both bank account statements? And how do you think i can List my travel Budget? Thank you and expecting your reply. |

giselle237: Lol. If you say so. I am not complicating matter, just been honest. As far as I know u must earn sufficient salary or have additional job to be able to shoulder all expenses by your self. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by justwise(m): 6:43am On Aug 08, 2019 |
cuttiee: If you are working for a company and they are sending you for a training then they will pay for everything. Though you still have to submit proof of employment and evidence of salary level earned but you are not spending your money. |

justwise: Yes @justwise, my company will be covering all expense. I have all evidence of employment and will provide my 6months payslip and salary account. But the question I earlier asked was that, 1. my company pays salary using 2 diff accts cos they merged hence salary is paid either from the 2 accounts. Is this a problem? 2. Will I be better applying while sponsoring myself though the company will still reimburse me or should my company pay the training fee using the company’s main account rather than using mine personally? 3.Training fee is about 250,000.Should we pay and attach as evidence while applying or not? Thank you |

I did my biometrics on the 10th of July in Abuja but till today I have not heard from them and I tried tracking ,still shows what it showed after I did my biometrics. Any possible reason why it’s delaying it’s over 15days. |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Nobody: 1:51pm On Aug 08, 2019 |
Kennyace1: Does the person inviting you have UK residence permit like settlement or indefinite? A student or working permit holder can’t really invite unless it’s family or graduation related. Use both accounts Get every doc he can provide you e.g Passport data page His UK residence permit copy Water gas mobile electricity bills (optional) IV from him stating reason he’s inviting you Work docs like payslips Bank statement The flag on your application would be you are applying from another country which it’s not your country. So Give the ECO reason you must complete your course in SA and why you studying there, give a very genuine reason why you wanna visit UK while studying in SA and why you can’t wait to return to your country to apply to visit UK. |
