A favorite past time of mine is racing cars on that stretch of road. ES350's, RX350's, W204 C300's, and even a W205 C300 on time. Fun.

Anyway, I saw an FX at my back, so I moved over to the other lane with the intention to race. For some reason, they usually take up the challenge. I moved over and the FX pulled up beside me. And pulled ahead a bit.

FX45. Not FX35

Abort mission. The FX has a 15 HP/60 ft-lb advantage. It is heavier, of course, and I'd beat it 10/10 over short distances. At the top end, though?? I think I'd lose quite comfortably.

I guess I'm just a bully.

It’s been 2 months now and he hasn’t even come up with any car to show. Am not saying he wants to scam me neither am I worried that i could loose my money but he keeps saying the amount i sent him is making things difficult for him to buy thhe eithe of the choice cars i requested. From what i read in your post, it didn’t take long before you made your purchase with the help of Deltel. Is there anyway i can bid by myself or find a car at IAA or copart and send him the link to make the purchase? Please educate me

Change oil to factory spec. If symptom persists, change oil pump.

2012-14 C350 is a huge fight, especially the coupe. I believe it can take down both the IS and g35 if the race requires merging and cutting through tight traffic because of its transmission

So, I replaced the air filters. And cleaned the MAFs. Throttle body was clean.


Rough idling stopped.


Discovered that a PCV hose wasn't connected. Reconnected it properly, clipped it back into place.


Rough idling started again.
I no know wetin dey worry Nissan tbh.


Took the car to the welders. Loosed out the exhaust. Catalysts were damaged. One had disintegrated, even.

Took out the cats.

Time to install spacers.

No space for bank 1. The O2 sensor would just end up hitting the transmission. We rugged am, force am in.


The 02 sensor wire cut.
And na like 10k for market.

Installed 02 sensor with spacers on bank 2. Funny enough, there was plenty space on that side. All fine and good until the car started throwing codes for cats on both banks.

The one wey spacer dey o, and the one wey spacer no dey.
So, basically I lost an O2 sensor for nothing.

Drove the car extensively without any O2 sensors on bank 1.. No difference at all to performance or fuel economy. I still get the 11 mpg I've always gotten.

Very interesting tbh.
