Its a very highly complex machine. Over engineered. Parts aren't cheap, good technicians are hard to locate, breakdown could be heart wrenching.

Oga Gazzuzz,my driver opened and checked the radiator water level on my hyundai accent 2012 and didn't cover it back properly, while driving i believe the engine heat up and the water pushed off the radiator cover which lead to the water drying up and the engine overheating and the car stopping on the road, the engine has cooled down now and i put in some water just to be able to start it and check if the gasket is not burnt, please kindly advise of what type of coolant i can use and if i can just pour the coolant in directly myself.

The coolant temperature guage on ur cluster should have detected a rise in temperature. U should get that checked as well if u survive this.

pour water watch it for 1week. (Visit mfm ) after that if you escaped, contact me for this coolant.

I intend getting a car that has similar low cost of maintenance as our corolla but the corolla is a little on the high side for my budget of 1M+ plus theft and vandalism issue and also the fact that i need more cargo space. I've seen avensis 2002 wagon and i like it. Kindly school me with your experience on the car, cost of maintenance, parts availability, fuel consumption etc. If you have suggestion of better option kindly specify. Highest regards..

excellent vehicle of choice, I used the 1998 Avensis with a 7a-fe engine manual transmission (I changed it to automatic a year later) vehicle has no issues I can think of.

Please I have a Toyota camry 2009 and I keep hearing a sound like a plastic hitting on a metal from the driver side.The first mechanic said it's the hub and we changed the hub and the noise is still there. He said he didn't know what the problem could be again. Now,I hear another cracking noise when I'm turning and a second mechanic said it's the shafts. We have since changed the shaft head/cup and the noise at turning has stopped. However, the initial noise sounding like a plastic and metal hitting each other resumed with a higher resonance. The noise is always heard between 60-80km/hr and on a very smooth road. Now, the 2nd mechanic says it's the shaft part connecting the gear box. He said the "bevel" needs to be changed and with that they have to bring down the gear for that. Please advise.
