Yes, no problem applying from your country of residence, everything is online anyway.
If you got your highest degree outside Nigeria, then you don't need WAEC for WES. Use this tool to find out the required documents: https://www.wes.org/required-documents/

Stdannyel:
Good evening all,

Please I need some clarification and I will really appreciate your kind response.
I'm planning to apply with my wife, but presently none of us is present in Nigeria, she's in the US (student) and I am in Dubai (Resident).
Is there any issues attached to this.

Secondly, while applying for Wes evaluation, do we need to include our O'level too.
And please in the application process, which step in more advisable to take first or is there any one can do side by side.

Thanks as I humbly await your response.

I want Unilag to send my MSc transcript and statement of result through email to ICES, but on the records portal, I only saw links for private courier and nipost. Please how did you request for the Email application?

Hello Lola, how are you ? Please I want to find out about the Unilag procedures. My Unilag MSC certificate isn’t ready and will not be ready until next year. I completed my programme March this year. Will an attestation letter suffice in place of my PG degree certificate. Please advise me.

Also, I know I should apply for my transcript online, is the procedure speedy or do I need to meet anyone to ensure it’s treated with urgency. Thank you and all the best

Wat are the risks involved?

The risk is that Governments; the world over, now fail and may likely not be able to meet up its maturing obligations. A glaring example is Greece. The way our country is being looted and governed, we might not be very far from this disaster.

PLACEHOLDERS

Education: BSC cert, MSC cert, ECA, IELTS (for PA & spouse)
Employment: Reference, Offer letter, Payslip, Commendation letter, Promotion letter (we had all the document so why not) For PA only
Change of Name: Marriage certificate, Affidavit, News paper publication, One and the same for PA.
POF: Summary page, Letter of consent from spouse (we used a joint account fixed deposit), Renmoney certificate, Renmoney letter of reference, Bank statement( this wasn’t necessary though as our fixed deposit had more than the required funds)
Police certificate: Inspector Moshood
Medicals: Qlife medical form (It's advisable to book before you get ITA if you're are sure of getting at the next draw, this delayed our application submission)
Digital Photo: The Passport app came in handy
Client Information: We filled Schedule A upfront, Visa refusal letters

POINTS TO NOTE
Please before submitting your application READ! READ!! READ!!!. While we were waiting for ICES I spent time going through nairaland thread, searching for answers online. There was really nothing peculiar about our application but I needed to be sure we had crossed all the ts. Some of the questions I had:
1. Using renmoney as POF. I have read a good number of PPR scripts and only found one person who used it, I tried contacting the moniker but got no response. Renmoney has one clause on their certificate that says “We can choose to approve or decline a liquidation request” I was really worried about it even though they always approve all liquidation requests. If you are in these shoes, you can request for a Letter of reference that says you have access to the funds in your account anytime. I had gotten a reference letter without this statement and requested they added that line to the reference letter, my relationship officer said he wasn’t sure they could add that line to my letter. He eventually came through with the letter but this was a day after we submitted. Well turns out it is not an issue but give yourself peace of mind by getting that letter.
2. We claimed points for only one role in PA’s previous workplace even though PA had 2 roles with different NOCs at the same company. We added the second role to personal history. The letter of reference had both roles.
Ladies and gentlemen, before submitting your application, make sure you spend time gathering info, ANY DOUBT you have before submitting is VALID. I’ve seen people asking questions about doubts they had after submitting their application. Don’t be like them oo. Ask all your questions now, google as well.

->Take screenshots of your application before submitting in case of an ADR.
->Please make sure your scanned documents are clear, people get rejected for illegibility.
->Create folders for every placeholder on your laptop and drop the necessary documents, this will help you mirror your application and also help you avoid silly mistakes like uploading a document in the wrong placeholder(please don’t be lazy about this).
->Take a day or 2 to compare the information on your documents with the information you filled especially the dates*. I know somebody that found a mistake with the dates on her reference after submitting.
->After receiving documents like ECA, IELTS, POF statements, Police report etc please check check check for mistakes before leaving the location if possible.
->Keep your application simple, if you must add unnecessary documents please add to Client information section.

After submitting, pleasssseeeee leave your application to God, stop looking for wetin no loss, Let Go and Let God. I see people going back to their application to give themselves a headache asking questions they should have asked before or questions they have already asked. No follow them oo that’s why I suggested using at least 2 days to check and recheck your application, I know it’s not easy but stressing yourself over things you can’t change isn’t worth it, trust me!.

Special thanks to @topsmamen & co for answering all my questions and to the nairaland community. I wish everyone all the best in their various stagessmiley.

This is for my safekeeping. Very valuable information here. Thank you so much for taking your time to go into details
I have one or two question though:

1. Is there a particular hospital one must go for medicals or just any find and must the PA in addition with spouse and children have their medicals?
2. How do I get a sample of a police report?
3. How long does WES Evaluation process take. I have attached what my current profile is with WES.

Psalm 126v1-3 King James Version (KJV)

126 When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.

2 Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The Lord hath done great things for them.

3 The Lord hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.

The journey was not born out of desire but circumstances changed and I got feed up with FRN, so I sought help with my brother who was in Qatar as at 2015 to join him as an expat , all plan was working well until QA decided not to grant Nigerians Visa, so I quit discussions related to traveling and focus more on my job here. Fast forward to 2017, My brother came again with the idea of Canada and I wasn't too kin, he paid for my first and second IELTS just to encourage me and the second time he initiated a PNP route towards the tail end of 2018, made my wife PA... Need I say that this brother of mine is an In-law turns friend and blood...

I don't know the answer to the first question about using attestation letter.
The second, University of Lagos only process transcript online, if you go there, you will just waste your time and effort. So apply online and try to find a strong contact who can help process it faster.

PPR ALERT!!!

This whole experience feels so surreal, God has been faithful to me and my family on this journey.
Decision to travel was February 2018, had just come back from birthing my baby in the US and I just decided to give myself brain because this Naija no be it abeg.
I sat down and binge read part 1-4, then i registered for IELTS in March 2018, 1st result was LRWS-9,9,6.5,7, I was so sad, applied for remark and after 15WEEKS!!! Result was unchanged, na swear I just dey swear for BC. Applied to WES the following month (was still trying to convince hubby to join the canny train). Evaluated my BSc and msc, ECA was ready in June. Hubby eventually got on-board and did IELTS in July with MOD and he passed! Imagine! I gave myself space before i registered for the next IELTS cos i wanted to practice my writing well.
Registered with MOD in August for the Sept 8th exam, result was LRWS 8.5, 9, 7, 8.5. I was so excited!

Timeline:
Decision to travel: February 2018
First IELTS: March LRWS: 9, 9, 6.5, 8.5
ECA: June 29 2018
Hubby's IELTS: July 2018 LRWS: 8, 7, 7,8.5
2nd IELTS: (Sept 24) 8.5, 9, 7,8.5(LRWS)
CRS: 471
Entered the pool: Oct 13th 2018
Surprise ITA: Oct 15th (Our wedding anniversary!)
AOR: Oct 26th
BIL: came a few hours after AOR
MEP/IP2: Oct 27th
RPRF Request/IP1: Nov 16
RPRF PAID: Nov 19 (I had typed out this ppr announcement when i got this request thinking it was around the corner, yimu, IRCC had other plans)
Called them on Dec 11th and found out that eligibility was met on Nov 16th
Ordered GCMS notes on Feb 19th
Received March 24th nothing had changed
ABSOLUTE
Siddon dey look
I
L
E
N
C
E
ordered another set on July 8th
IP2: July 17th
PPR: July 17th
Total no of days: 263 days
Family of 3, moderate travel history.

-POF: Submitted Fixed deposit certificate (40% of POF) in my name (just invested the money two days before submission), money came from hubby so he wrote a letter of authority blah blah, then the remaining 60% was in hubby investment account that he had running since February 2018. The deposits matured while waiting, we rolled over but we didn't update it.

-Ref letter: Was unable to get ref letter in cic format amidst plenty office drama, I eventually got a manager to draft one for me on plain sheet and I notarized it included her ID and business card. Added my employment letter, promotion letter, payslips, salary statement of account and a printout of the email where my request was denied.

-PCC: Naija (Inspector Moshood) and acro UK.

-Medicals was done at Q-Life, spent almost the whole day there. Our medicals got passed a day after AOR, see me thinking that i'd have the fastest timeline in history, little did I know that God wanted to teach me patience (something I don't have a lot of, lool).

-LOE was just one page, gave reason why I couldn't get ref letter in CIC format, tabulated our POF, added the number of days i had stayed in the US it wasn't up to six months but because it shows very frequently in my travel history didn't want the VO to guess (it had happened to someone i know) and request for FBI PCC. Only got points for hubby's IELTS, didn't need to do ECA for him so there was no placeholder for his education, had to attach his TRF to LOE.

POST AOR; I really thought this our application timeline was going to be very short, meds passed was a day after AOR, BIL was the following day. I was already happy, 3weeks after AOR, rprf request came, was so excited, then one month passed, and another. By the time we clocked 6months, I called, raised CSEs, ordered GCMS notes, mailed MPs they didn’t do anything! when we clocked 7months, I just resigned to God to take over.

I'm writing all this story cos someone will use it to encourage themselves, it was stories like this I used to keep hustling, so to all ITA, PPR hopefuls, God is on the throne, we shall all laugh last!

PS shout out to @newmum0615 for her help with my ref letter wahala and my Sept/Oct aor whatsapp group you guys are amazing, You made the journey seem shorter, we helped each other get through, THANK YOU!

PLEASE if you are yet to start this process or just recently applied, I would implore you to buy dollars with half of your POF. If your POF is invested in Tbills or MMF and you don't have a good buffer in Naira to make up for any shortfall, be wise - liquidate half and buy dollars.

If like me, you are keeping your eyes on what's happening in the financial markets and the recent uncertainty in the price of crude oil, then you know its time to hedge.

If you have any doubts, seek the advise of any financial advisor worth his salt. Be wise!

Please provide more information on how to do this and still provide POF.

I'm also weary of the value of the naira

So there has been conflicting views on how best to invest POF instead of just leaving it in the account. Which is the best amongst all these options. GTB fixed deposit, mutual funds and treasury bills. I just heard about renmoney investment too... Pls guru should shed more light on it and also shed more light on buying dollars too. All these financial terms are difficult to understand.

Na wah o. I wrote the 27 July IELTS Idp and was wondering when results would be out so I checked the British council Ielts results and a page opened: Online Registration System. Requesting for my information. After entering the details my results came out as LRWS 8777. But there is a disclaimer that the result is provisional and should not be used as an official confirmation of my achievement bla bla bla.
Please what do I do now.

You need to pick up the paper results (Test result form/TRF). It has a reference number which you will need to enter the pool.
