Pls, see images, can I use this pot to cook with this electric cooker. Considering its its metal top, if I place a n aluminum pot on it.. Will it spark an electric shock while trying to bring down the pot or open it.

ify84: Ofcourse it may shock you if an area touches the pot. Several have shocked me and i make it a point of duty not to touch the pot while the cooker is on. 1 Like |

those top coils of the hot plate are usually coated with materials that prevent transfer of electrons to the pot i.e non conductive materials. But what matters here is the quality of the product from the manufacturers, thus when of inferior definitely leads to shock. Surprisingly my dual electric gas cooker also shocks when I'm using the electric plate which shouldn't be so. 1 Like |
