Good people, am ready to lock in for a very long time provided rate is above 15%. Will Nigeria disintegrate before 2032?

Nothing is certain. No risk, no reward.

Except a bad-ass Prophet, I doubt anyone can answer this question with any reasonable level of confidence. Investments are risky, determine how much risk you're willing to take.

Investors in the house.

What will be the yield for #150,000 invested in treasury over 3 months and 6 months respectively.

I intend to buy Tbills from GTB, how can I calculate the expected yield

Even a badass prophet would not answer that.

I don’t think Buhari will allow devaluation. Buhari is a big socialist, he will continue to ask Emefiele to peg the naira atleast until it becomes impossible to do go, I guess it’s one of the reasons he was reappointed

u can force rates to hang when u don't have control over forex inflow from crude ....worst govt peg price to 360 dollar find it level at 400 in black market the the round tripping begin by govt allotte the economic grind to a halt ...then cbn raise rate to discourage it

U can't even get dollar now.....my aboki no gree sell since yesterday.

But @ahib I don't understand why we need to devalue the naira becos CRUDE oil price is dropping. What off external reserves , isn't it meant to cushion the effect of temporal price change. Can't they increase TB rates to attract more funds and if need be print more money to payback the interest.

This naija haff tire me......

Since T-bills rate is becoming not encouraging... I'd like to ask

1. How do you make money from currency devaluation... A naira devaluation as a case study...
2. I'd like some business gurus to recommend books on investment and strategies of creating wealth (Although I've read couple of books mostly authored by Robert Kiyosaki)... Thanks...

You can buy from trusted Abokis in the streets or you can buy from people remitting funds to Nigeria depending on your location.

But you need to have an account domiciled in the currency you want to invest in, there are banks with little withdrawals fees, make inquiries regarding the banks and give us a feedback. Usually you need a minimum opening balance of $100.

I bought 21m for 91 days at stanbic , I think on 17/18 of July (primary market). 20,502,616 was debited on 18/07/2019 but Now I need to take out 7m to add to something I need. Is it advisable to pull out the 7m. Is it the interest that will suffer or the capital? And how much do you think the bank can deduct? If it affect interest alone, I won't be bothered. Do you think it will pay me? Remember It is Stanbic.

Guru in the house. Kindly help me with this

Lol. In less than a month you wan pull 7 milla. Your current interest is round N120k so if you liquidate now you could have 21,120,000.

I don’t believe your computation is correct. The earned interest should be added to the debited sum and not the supposed sum at maturity

You can't terminate investments in parts. You must terminate everything then reinvest what you don't need. For the charges, some banks will take 25% of the interest earned. In all, just pray it doesn't affect your capital. Good luck.
