okehsmiley: Invest a lot of time into trying out different listening tests especially the cambridge tests. I find that those are the closest to the actual test. Practice a lot of map tests too. Listening was a big challenge to me and I completely understand. Please don't give up. It will end in praise. 6 Likes 1 Share |

I forgot to give an update. He was asked to request for a refund of the wife's biometrics fee that she doesn't need it. They have requested a refund. They both have their PRs, and have landed in Canada already. The wife is indeed lucky as after 3 weeks of submitting her docs and paying her fees they both got PR. Thanks to all who gave responses to me at different times on this forum. I wish everybody the best in this journey. @Topsmamen Topsmamen: 3 Likes 1 Share |

ThowLou: If you are sure that your result has been approved by senate, you can use your statement of result. You have to apply for transcript online, if you have a contact that can help you to fast track your application, then speak to the person. Otherwise, get yourself busy and wait until your application reads completed. I know of three different people without any contact, it took between one to three months to complete their applications. 1 Like |

You can combine jobs even in different NOCs. As long as it is A, B, 0. You can combine different professions. Your degree and work experience do not have to be in the same field. You can combine different work experiences as long as you already have worked for one year in one of them (People typically use NYSC for this). Eg: You worked NYSC for 1 year. Worked at place B for 2 months, Place C for 5 months and place D for 5 months. Combine all of these to make 12 months. You are probably going to have a sh*t ton of reference letters to get 3 years but hey, whatever gets you to the promise Land. Hopefully this helps you dig through your life to get that 3 years of experience. Rence22: 8 Likes 5 Shares |

ifevictor:The requests for additional investigations came as emails from IRCC and from the hospital that did the investigations. The ADRs were not health related. They were for proof that I had access to the funds in my spouse's account (submitted a notarized letter stating this), legal name change documents for my spouse and I, because we changed our middle names at different times (we swore affidavits immediately and submitted), and for my birth certificate (I didn't submit this initially). If you have more questions, you can ask me here, so that others can benefit from our conversation. Thanks. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

Congratulations to all the new PPR recipients, may Canada favour you. @hephgirl, congratulations on your landing. I woke up to your hilarious landing gist and smiled throughout while reading it. I'm surely gonna have a beautiful day. I like those parts you talked about your hubby . Nice one. @restofus, let's keep pushing and praying, it will definitely end beautifully well for us too.
