Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Monmarri: 10:32pm On Aug 09, 2019 |
Graceee: My advice let him make his trip 14 days or 10days, atleast 10days trip is reasonable enough. Spending all this flight fare and £1100 just for five days will be a red flag. £1100 is very ok for 10days trip. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Graceee: 10:35pm On Aug 09, 2019 |
Monmarri:Can £1100 take him for 10 days as he doesn't know anyone in uk. He is solely sponsoring the trip. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Graceee: 10:39pm On Aug 09, 2019 |
Can £1100 cover someone for a whole self sponsored 10 day trip to uk Salary 250 k acct closing bal, N1.7 m |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Monmarri: 6:27am On Aug 10, 2019 |
Graceee: It is perfectly fine . Let him try to give the estimate on how he will spend it. Flight fare return= 270k Accommodation= 76k ( I advice he use cheaper hostel to maintain his buget not to exceed his two months salary) Then the remaining money left for living expenses, shopping and visiting tourist attractions. |

MrsDaniels: These things happens sometimes and we can't really make that judgment call as you don't know the whole story or how the form was completed. Sometimes ECO make decision based on their experience which we don't have, so its really hard to understand why ECOs make certain decisions I don't see anything wrong with those documents she submitted but then again i'm not an expert on this. 2 Likes |

justwise: Hello Justwise, Please Judicial review is actually for all categories of visa including non-immigration visa's. My solicitors in london have been winning a lot of non-immigrant refusals through Judicial review. I used to ask questions for my sister but she was refused so we are going through a Judicial review and a letter before claim has been sent to the home office now and we are waiting. If they dont respond after sometime then they will proceed with the next action. ECOs sometimes just refuse anyhow and if you have a good case and you challenge them they reconsider their decision and issue visa. Will update the house |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by justwise(m): 9:23pm On Aug 10, 2019 |
NanaOne1: Dude your solicitor is sending letter of reconsideration to the HomeOffice and not judicial review, anybody can do this and still get positive/negative result. These solicitors will give you the impression that you can appeal visa refusal or go for Judicial review and you pay then they write letter of reconsideration. You are wasting your money with solicitor because anybody can send a letter to immigration asking for reconsideration about seemly unfair visa refusal You can't take the homeoffice to court for tourist visa refusal 1 Like |

Sebastine1606: The employee statement of account is one evidence that shows that he/she is in that employment. Payslip may work instead, but without a statement, I doubt if it will fly. Let's see if there is someone here with such experience. |

Good day to all the gurus in the house, my cousin wants to invite me to the UK for a 2weeks visit and he’s ready to pay for my flight ticket and I will be staying in his house for that 2wks. I am self employed and have a corporate account that’s not doing bad with in flow and outflow presently, but I don’t pay myself salary monthly. What do you guys think, should I go ahead? |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Nobody: 3:57pm On Aug 11, 2019 |
dre44k: Sounds good, All you need is to state a valid reason for visiting your cousin and also explain your cash in flows, imaging the VO is a baby and try to explain everything including your ties to Nigeria |

Monmarri: Those are Backpackers accommodation, shared room with bunk beds, never seen anybody who got a visa with such accommodation. Years ago while on school picnic i used one in London and Wales , no security, no privacy, infact you take your stuff while going to have a shower because you are sharing a room with strangers. The price tells you everything. Whether it will fly remains to be seen. 2 Likes |
