There are two things here, the SS cannot secede and no country will align with Nigeria

The Ogoja man does not know anything about the Ijaw man. Most tribes in the so called SS dont know each other, but they all know Igbos.

Igbos of today are too enlightened and republican to marginalize another region after what they have been through under the failed Nigerian nation.

What Biafra or any other name the Eastern nation will bear will operate is a fully independent regional government which will be like United Kingdom with each regions that will make up the new nation- Biafra or whatever having total independence and control of their Police, security, resources....

Iran will not interfere.

They have a real threat of going to war with NATO.

Not that they afraid of war with the US but rather because they don't have the resources at hand to waste in trying to carve out territory in the north.

At best they will be glad the Saudis throw their money into the conflict financing the Nigerian war effort but other than that, I don't see why Iran will get involved.
