some players started in croatia and are having better career than ajagun right now hahahahahahahahahaha

Show me any Nigerian that has played consistently in the AMF position in Europe. Clown.

If a player like Etebo can make the leap from lowly rated feirense to the laliga and now in the championship in England after just moving to Europe barely 4 years ago I see no reason why ajagun who left the shores of Africa for Europe since 2013 is still langushing in a lowly rated kortrij in belgium
Joebie:
I think we need to stop calling each other names. If you have recommendations for the AM position say it, and we can debate.

Why the comparison with Etebo. Will we play Etebo as an AM?

Ebere Eze, ovie ejaria, Onomah and even aribo will do better as a number 10 than ajagun. Kortrij can even afford the above mentioned players hahahahahaha

U were making a case for Ajagun and he epitomises the opposite of what u just wrote up there. Dude and consistency are two parallel lines, hence he has ended up as a journey man gallivanting from one obscure club to another without any meaning impact in any. He is useless

Playing for two seasons for Panathinaikos in the league and Europa League, moving to Eredivise and later Belgium Pro League is not consistent in a renowned bigot like you. You are just a bloody liar.

Oga say the truth and shame the devil. Etebo is an all rounder whose natural position is playing behind a striker but because of how versatile he is played as a 10 severally for warri wolves and feirense before moving to Spain. He also can play as a striker, central midfielder and winger as well

I don't have any personal beef with you. I just don't think it's good for you to wish someone downfall.

Please, I didn't curse you.

Will Rohr play him there? That's the question. AS far as Rohr playing style is concerned Etebo will not thrive well as an AM. We have just one AM in that team --Iwobi.

And what have he achieved since playing as a 10 in Europe for the over 6 seasons in European football?

What makes a player an asset is the ability to fit in in more than one position. Iwobi for example can be deployed as a supporting striker, number 10 and from the leftwing.

Aribo can be deployed as a cm, am and defensive midfielder, same goes to Onomah while ejaria can be deployed as a cm and attacking midfielder.

Eze is naturally a 10 but can be deployed as a winger which is where he has played for reading In their last 2 matches.

Rohr won't try him there because iwobi is better than etebo in that position. If Rohr needs a back up for Alex in the 10 role the best bet is ebere Eze. Even Rohr will prefer deploying iheanacho in that role than inviting ajagun

Ajagun played for Panatinaikos at his peak, but, when age finally caught up wt him, he got thrown away, since then, he has been on a downward trajectory, from playing for the worst team in the Eredivisie, to the worst team in Belgium, to Cyprus. Dude has passed his prime, remember he was one of the age cheats alongside Chukwudi that was brought to the U17 by Obu, from the defunct Dolphins of PH

Yes it's a step down but that was the best offer he had after the world cup monetary wise. The likes of Newcastle, gatefe and Valencia wanted him but Stoke offered him more money and signed him for 8-10 millions euros if am not mistaken.

Etebo never lacked suitors even Galatasaray wanted him on loan from Stoke this summer but Stoke refused because he is one of their best players. His name was also mooted in Newcastle for a possible transfer but Stoke refused letting him go.

Ajagun was already a top player for dolphins in the local league when he was picked by the U17 coach in 2009. Him, omeruo, Azeez, Chukwudi, edafe, Onazi played in that team. Ajagun na old man

I am a Christian who hasn't left the path followed by his forefathers bkus, African tradition was there before the advent of Christianity, so trust me when I say his curse is bluff. When it gets to that, just a simple cry to the gods and his life will never remain d same. So bro, Dat one na chipili matter

I'm not saying Etebo is a bad player.

He can't play 10

only Iwobi can play that for now but inconsistent

We need one more AM.

And who said Abraham is not better than oshimeh. Mind u I no follow for ur kind wey dey use sentiment follow players.

The only attractive teams in Belgium are Anderlecht, standard liege, club brugge, Genk and gent others na nonsense. Young players use the Belgian top flight as a spring board to bigger leagues an teams in Europe.

No good young player in the Belgian top flight remains there after a season or 2. Belgium and Holland is a breeding field for scouts from top leagues in Europe who are hunting for young talented players

8th position is no top league. and where do you place the second tier leagues of top 5 leagues in that ranking?

Of course it's not but Belgium Pro League remains a top league as long as no Nigerian is playing on that position and at that level consistently.

I hope you understand my point now.

Ajagun may not develop to be a better player, but that doesn't mean he cannot feel the void that currently exist in the SE even if it means temporarily.
