the boys is dope. homelander is what superman would be if he were a psychopath.

wu assassins is not half bad. really enjoying the fight scenes.

Even if somebody hates superhero movies, the person still has to agree that Avengers is a good movie.

The reviews on money heist S3 on this thread is a proof never to take most people here serious i love the show, before i could download and watch all i read here was how average it was. Thank God i didn't act on their myopic brains i just finished it, it was exceptional, i love how it has move from been a heist to a war.

when someone has made up their mind to never watch anything superhero ish, what makes you think avengers will be any different? objectivity doesn't apply to petty likes and dislikes. for example I hate cartoons. death note is something I will never watch because it's a cartoon. even though it's highly regarded by anime lovers, it's still a cartoon to me. when it comes to viewing pleasures, people think in terms of this one good, this one bad. it's basic.

first three episodes of the boys was really good....thought the latter episodes were boring..
Basically nothing was concluded after eight episodes...for an eight episodes series I'm surprised how much they dragged things..

The boys(butcher and co) spent a full eight episodes without confrontation against their so called enemies apart from the translucent fight which was literally the most exciting part of the show..
Don't tell me u didn't feel the tension when they captured translucent...
them not having an open confrontation for the most part is a big Plot hole imo

Them not having an open confrontation is a plothole? Dude, they're fvcking ordinary human beings with the exception of Kimiko and you saw how Black Noir and A-Train bodied her. They defeated Translucent by luck and barely survived that fight. This is not the Arrowverse where Oliver Queen uses The Flash and Supergirl to shine. Any open confrontation will end with The Boys dead in less than a minute.

I'm guessing your best series is the flash. Movies like the boys are for mature minds. The way season 1 ended is phenomenal. All along butcher has hated and hunted sups because he was sure homelander raped and killed his wife, but he didn't it was a romantic affair and she got pregnant. But homelander is still a psycho

Are you sure you've seen the series . One episode was enough to tell it is complete trash, will probably be worse than iron fist. What are they gn be acting for a whole season the plot is too week, you'll get sick of the main character in no times, and the graphics mtchewww

basically I don't really enjoy superhero shows...
doom patrol is the only superhero show I follow..

The moment he discovered their identities, he and Vought went after them and their families. I have come to realise that many people cannot think deeply about the stuff they watch. This is why simple plot movies consistently outsell complex plot movies.

i'm not the type to criticize people for not liking a particular series. We all have different taste in series, however you need to understand what the series is all about, the series is not your typical superhero series.

1. to these people they are after two things,, money and power. That's why they are pursuing the military deals and that's why they have PR teams. you will notice only people with either great superpower or marketable superpower were selected. ( in the context )

the series is trying to focus on the "dark" side of superheroes telling us things are not what it seems to be and it's very much relatable in this part of the world. some people present themselves as our hero and saviour when in the right sense they are only after their own selfish interest and they are too powerful to be confronted, when you raise alarm and expose them for who they really are people find it hard to believe and their minions come for you. they continue their bad deeds secretly unchecked under the disguise of being the saviour.

if you can see it from this perspective you will get what the series is all about.

2. like i said the boys is not your typical flash, arrow avengers type movies/series ....

another example is the way they handle casualties also relatable. how people in power treat killing their fellow humans as "collateral damage"



lastly the ending was epic, imagine fighting for something all your life and discovering you have been fighting for a wrong course.
