Omeruo and Azeez no be the same set? Isn't Omeruo our best defender today? And how has Omeruo's club career been?

ChrisKels:

Forget sentiments bro, that guy is an old man and he's passed his prime. Can u see he didn't add an inch from his height at the U17s? He has remained same height for more than 10years now

He joined Panathinaikos when he was in his prime and did well in his first 2 season before he was first loaned out to a lowly ranked team in the same Greek league. Panathinaikos is a well respected team in Greek football with great history and followers hip but Roda can never be ranked ahead of leeds united.

Roda have been and will remain a lowly rated team in the dutch league. The best are ajax, aikmaar, ajax, feyenored and psv. Even vitesse and heereveen are ranked highly than Roda in Dutch football
forgiveness:

Are those clubs better than Panathinaikos and Roda? grin

AS an AM he can deputize Iwobi. Will he fare well? We will never know until he is invited. But first things first. Let him knock on SE's door this season

charlesemeka85:
No one doubts that but is he better than what we have in our disposal now?

Because he played for a more ambitious team who were title contenders and have been regulars in the Europa league then. I doubt if ajagun can make the grades in gent as of then.

Rabiu was not good enough

Omeruo have improved alot since playing in laliga in the colors of leganes who just signed him up permanently.

He had all it takes to be rated among the best in his position in Africa but running to turkey on loan stunted his development. Notwithstanding he has learnt from his mistake which is why he insisted on going to play on loan with Leganes even when Turkish clubs offered him more money to have him on loan last season.

The only league Rabiu has performed well is Slovenia.

Being same set doesn't mean they are same age. Omeruo was plucked from the academy, while Ajagun was a seasoned player with dolphins, Omeruo has added feet to his height while Ajagun hasn't added even an inch since 2009.

Ajagun is an old man

And u say u Sabi ball? Do u know an SS performs very well when deployed as an AM? The difference between an SS and AM isn't much.

SS don't control the flow of play, AM does. You know we are talking about 10 (AM) here. Iheanacho is an SS but can't do well as AM because he's not a good passer.

Etebo has always been known to pounce on loose balls during Siasia's time. Did well as SS but right now he hardly does well with passes when he's used in the middle.

Holds the ball longer and not a fast thinker when it comes to distribution.

So in summary, we only have one 10 (Iwobi) for now and no need using him there. Let Rohr get another AM. We pay him for this.

BUT and IFs
The point is Omeruo hasn't had a great club career until recently. He couldn't cut it in the championship. He did okay in Turkey and pretty well in Spain though. Omeruo has had far more opportunities because Chelsea is his parent club. Different circumstances compared to Ajagun. It's arguable they are in the same age range. It's not like young players never played in the NPFL

I don't want to argue age matter as long as they were all subjected to MRI testing. Else I go follow komekn say all naija bred players are most likely age cheats.

That's not an excuse. Don't make it sound like Chelsea helped omeruo's career. Ahmed Musa started his European adventure in lowly rated vv venlo and from their moved to greater things by playing for Russian giants cska Moscow and earning a big money move to leicester

Moses simon started in Croatia, moved to Belgium and played in laliga for levante last season. Now rumour has it he is about to sign for Nantes in the French Ligue 1

Samuel kalu followed the same route as Simon did and earned move to French Ligue 1 where he plays for bordeux

Anderson esiti started from Portuguese 2nd teir, joined estoril in Portuguese top flight, moved to gent in Belgium and today plays for Greek champions Paok. He almost moved to levante last season but his club in Belgium blocked the move.

Okereke who is painting Belgian league with goals today stated in regional leagues in Italy just to mention a few.

Dont make it seem as Chelsea did omeruo a favor by signing him. They saw something in him which they liked and he had to work hard to earn it and get where he is today. There is no free food in free town

So if you are an agent then Roda and Brentford wants a player registered to ur agency u will advise the player to join ignore Brentford and join Roda? U re sick.

Or Heereveen and Roda u will advise him to join the latter instead of the former?

I'm not rubbishing Omeruo. But we are talking about players from that same set. Being in Chelsea means they can always farm him to relatively better teams. He had better opportunities for development compared to Ajagun. And that does not mean that Ajagun couldn't have pulled it off despite all odds.

How many AMF from African play that role for a top club? Use your brain.
If they are good enough top clubs will buy them, most African AMF na otu them be as we've witnessed in the just concluded afcon
