Yes that is the true position. However, it is not a percentage of Cadets Salary that is paid monthly in camp. For instance, the last set (Course 29) were paid just N10, 000 monthly stipend while in camp and at the end of the training (POP), they were paid over a million Naira which is their cumulative salary for almost a year (depending on the number of months spent in training; usually 9 months).

Another point is that it is only 1 month that Cadet spend in the various State Commands as trainees and not 3 months as previously stated on this thread. This is based on the last set of 2016/17.

cadet officers should be earning about 150 basic plus allowances close to 180-200k max.. Detectives earn 90 to 100k. All dis is basic salary tho, when u go on operational missions and things of that kind u get mobilization and allowances..

To clear your doubt on the cancellation, call the number that called you few weeks ago and ask if the recruitment has been canceled or not. They will tell u its has not been canceled. The list is ready and over 400 candidates will be called. When I don't know. How soon I don't know but the recruitment is still very much on
