Toluobaeko11: Change your line of defense. Paris, Washington, London, Rome, Greece and Egypt are over 700 years old with vintage antique infrastructures, still they're beautiful cities. Your cities are barely 150 years according to you, yet they've all turned to museums. What infrastructures did you have before FG started building bridges, Airport, Seaports, Railway, Schools and roads? You said the Yorubas made Igbo Alphabet, I won't need to argue with you, please Sir... Olaudah Equiano (16 October 1745 – 31 March 1797) known in his lifetime as Gustavus Vassa was a writer and abolitionist from Ihiala, which is in Igbo region of what is today southeastern Nigeria The date says... 1745, can you tell us any Yoruba man was educated before this man, thanks. 1 Like |

kernel001:Are Paris, Washington and co in developing nations or developed nations? Go to developing nations like China, India Brazil and co and see worst houses than those in the Southwest. Does that mean South East is more developed than those countries? @ red Let me correct a notion here Although we already had big towns, in some instances with walls before the advent of Western civilization, we were also the first to adobt western civilization in Nigeria. Hence, it is no conincide that the Europeans deem it fit to establish most structures of Western civilization in the western part of Nigeria. 2 Likes |

Iamgrey5: It's the influx of people that makes value of any product. When demand outweighs supply. If you don't see people to buy up property the price will fall primary economic. |
Re: Aerial View Of Oshogbo by Iamgrey5(m): 2:46pm On Aug 11, 2019 |
kernel001:How is this related to capital flight? When demand outways supply price will fall but the market will soon adjust again Needless to say, it is the economic viability of a place that makes people go into a state of a region. Lagos because of its strategic position in the Atlantic ocean will continue to remain economically viable, even if certain people decide to leave the state. After all, people have always moved In and out of Lagos throughout its history. More importantly, Yorubas still make a huge chunk of Lagos population. It's the reality most business minded igbos have to come to accept. |

KingOdart: Yoruba women are not cute enough to control the business, Ashawo work is done all over the whole world and it is a business worth several billions of dollars and dictated by pretty women, the Sex business in United states is worth more than the Nigerian GDP so lucartive is the sex business that 2 yoruba men Bobrisky and Denrele are trying so hard to turn themselves to women. Online Porn Business in United states alone is worth more than the GDP of Nigeria Go and focus on your men trying to turn them selves into women to tap into the sex business and stop worrying over women in ibadan who only claim that they are igbos to avoid shame . elsewhere i have seen a lot of girls claiming to be igbos but on close inquiry you find that some of them are even yorubas and niger deltans 4 Likes |

Infrastructurally,Igboland is not even near most cities in Yorubaland.Yorubas have been building houses more than 1000 years ago.Igbos were still living on the trees then. Iamgrey5: Let me help you out. What brings people to Lagos, is the infrastructures built by FG. If other states have their own sea port and International Airport what will they be doing in Lagos? And if I may ask you, which Western predominantly Yoruba state has enjoyed the industrial ingenuity like Lagos? |

Re: Aerial View Of Oshogbo by Iamgrey5(m): 4:29pm On Aug 11, 2019 |
kernel001:Speak with facts ✓Rivers has both international Airport and seaports ✓Delta has seaports ✓Government has just spent millions in renovating the Airport in Abuja and building a light rail to Abuja ✓Enugu has an International Airport Yet, these states still rank low significantly when compared to Lagos economic prowess because of the strategic location of Lagos. Perhaps you don't know much about what is called leveraging on your competitive advantage. Your brothers made their ways in droves to Lagos because of this economic viability not the other way round. Hence, if you guys decide to leave today, others will only sieze the opportunity that Lagos provides @ second question Ogun state continues to enjoy economy development because of its strategic location. Ibadan enjoys economic development because of its strategic location. Even at that, majority of what is now known as industrial backbone of Lagos was initially in the Western region. i.e Ikeja Those areas were taken over forcefully by military head of state without compensation to the Western region government.. 1 Like |

Bruv did you go to school at all. Is Lagos included in the 22 states sampled And even at that Ondo and Ogun still supercedes Anambra in industrial related GDP development. Ebonyin is still the least developed state in the south based on nominal GDP. |

Iamgrey5: Hahahaha Delta Seaport? Kai! Please get any picture from Delta Sea Port, post it online. Port-Harcourt Seaport isn't functioning except for Oil vessels. Cargo aren't allowed. All the Oil companies that have their headquarters in Lagos, you think they will be there if the nation is divided? Can the revenue generated in Ogun state sustain it without federal allocation? What does Western states produce, just like you can say of Benue (food)? |
Re: Aerial View Of Oshogbo by Iamgrey5(m): 4:59pm On Aug 11, 2019 |
TundeBricklayer:Olodo Local boy Ilaje local government is where oil is found in Ondo state. Oil is not a God given right of the Ijaw tribe like most local people in your region of country would like to believe Anambra econmic expansion is because it doesn't really have the economy the size of Lagos to compete with it in the region. In the land of one the blind people, one eye Sunday is the hero. Anambra's economy expansion is also highly supported by crude exploration. Regardless of that, Oyo state still has a much higher total GDP than Anambra as nominal GDP only reflects GDP growth not the total GDP. |

Does it belongs to your parents? https://oldnaija.com/2017/03/04/seaports-in-nigeria-and-their-locations/ If there is none functing in Rivers state, then how do most petroleum companies export crude oil to other countries? The port in onne and the Port of Porthacult? Are the museums? @ oil companies How many people are petroleum/Energy companies employing in Lagos? We have close to ten million people here in Lagos, yet oil company employ less than 1000 people, still ! you believe that they are the main people that sustain the Lagos economy somehow You obviously don't know the first thing about economics @ your last question Does the south East generate anything significant for the federal government ? That said, the money generated by Southwest for the federal government is not more than what we are allocated by the federal government. We are not Northerners that you can intimidate with nonsense 1 Like |
