Thanks for the tips

I would definitely love a low fat low sugar option.

this looks good.
Use single cream, small condensed milk, Greek yogurt(0 fat) or any thing u fancy and lick away. I will add lime next time.
Not a fan of sugary things but icecream is an exception.
Any way I can reduce them is welcomed to me.

And guess what, if u go to any shopping mall, u will see like dozens and dozens of ice cream beckoning u to come and have a taste.
I jump and pass.
I want to get six abs like that Nigerian lady footballer( she is very fair) by hook or crook tongue grin cheesy cheesy.
Think she is based in Canada.

Next time add Greek yogurt. No fat. Soured. It kinda neutralise that sugar effect

It is not really amala. It is called Kunube. Yam flour is called Elubo.

There are only two ways you get that kinda of amala. It is either with people who don't have much money, normally these people add it to Lafun. You also have people who don't know amala or buy amala in its powder form, it is diluted with actual yam amala.

However if you buy the dried yam itself from the market then grind it, there isn't any single yam peel in it.

So yam flour is Elubo?
Hian cheesy
What do we know.

We call cassava flour alìbo cheesy.
We don't even know the correct name grin
Or is that what u call cassava flour too?

Lafun is Cassava Flour, it is very cheap. Elubo is quite expensive.

Its good o But I have never thought of that.
U can buy any yogurt around u.
If u are giving ur child, skip the yogurt and use only condensed milk. She will not like it or unless u want to use it for urself.

I noticed that we don't like yoghurt but that thing is among the healthiest food ever especially low fat or no fat because of the probiotics it contains.

Some parents start giving their children probiotics at small age.
No better way to get it other than yoghurt.
We all need the good bacteria very much

Come and see it in Ibadan.

See what? White amala? It can't be so white and non-transparent like poundo yam.

Hello nairaland family,
come and savor this Sunday meal with me...
A local delicacy known as achicha & agbugbu/fio fio. It's indigenous to the people of Enugu State, Nigeria. The only seasoning I used is maggi and little salt for taste although you can add scent leaf, crayfish or any other spice of your choice but note that it's a local dish and you don't want it tasting like fried rice. You can serve it with fried fish, smoked fish, ponmo or any thing you use to eat your abacha. Highly proteinous and delicious!
Join me please...It's tastier than it looks. tongue

A concoction of leftover things in the refrigerator that I didn’t want to waste.

Beef stew, steamed vegetables, fried plantains. I just added rice noodles and it was done in 10 mins:

And I haven’t had palm wine either. For some reason it doesn’t appeal to me.

But alcohol in general is an acquired taste. I didn’t start drinking until a few years ago. Used to dislike it so much. Now I’m the madam. kiss
