I have a BSc in Accounting and works as an account officer presently but wanna change career path to SCM cos of some top management jobs am eyeing. grin

I only want tuition free schools but most I have seen in my search require tuition fees. Here lies another challenge.

If you choose SCM, you can be fine. If you can easily link it to your current career path.

Tuition free for some business courses are not that much.. But you need to search well using DAAD. You might be lucky.

And ensure they are English speaking except you're already good in German...

No age barriers. No GP barrier too. I had a 2.92 and I'm going for Msc

To be candid, you can't just change career path where applying for schools in Germany except you have a lot of work experience. Your cgpa when converted to German grade is 2.6 Which actually is a bit below the 2.5 expected on the average for an msc.
I'll advice that you don't focus on a particular course (supply Management) and insist on that's what you want because you would only get heartbroken if things go wrong.

Apply for another bsc. There are many tuition free courses, take advantage of it. Your age and marital status won't matter. There are two ladies in this thread who are in their 30s that started bsc afresh too. So you're not a first.
Good luck and don't put all your eggs in one basket cos that's what I noticed on your message.

Hello everyone,
I have been a guest on nairaland for so long, reading and observing until i stumbled on this amazing thread which finally graduated me from guest to membership tongue tongue
I want to really appreciate the moderators and all that has and still helping out with vital information in securing the German Visa.

Congrats to All successful candidates so far! By God's special grace we will also be sharing our success stories soon.

I intend to begin my application this moment but there are a couple of information I need..

First, I am wondering if I can get admitted for MSc (Supply Chain Management) with a 2.84/5 Nigerian GPA to a good German school.

2. I have considered going for another BSc but don't know how visible this will be considering my age (37) and status (single) sex (female)
Is it possible I get an admission and also a Visa?
Note: Bachelor's is in Accounting and I have no prior knowledge to my intended MSc course. (Just making a change in my career path)

Would really appreciate ur advice and contributions so I know the steps to take in this journey.

Thanks in advance

Bro, thanks for the reply, but I’m having a hard time trying to understand your reply,, it’s kinda contradicting.. Are you saying that there are tuition free courses(aka scholarship) that isn’t enlisted on DAAD.De?? Pls elucidate
Tuition free courses are not scholarships. You can apply to tuition free courses with your grade but apply for bsc too cos your grade is a bit below 2.5 average German grade. It will be bit difficult getting a scholarship but you can try. But apply for normal tuition free courses.

Good morning
If someone is banned for booking appointment, how will the person know. Will they inform the person that he or she is banned or what?

There is no "silver bullet" answer to this question as it is dependent on several factors:

If the B.Sc program you are going for is a SECOND DEGREE:

a. Nigeria is deemed an English-speaking country, so some schools will naturally waive that requirement for you. You would have to mail them to verify

b. Since English language is most likely the language of instruction during your first degree studies, an official document (called English Proficiency Letter [EPL]) from your school attesting to that should suffice. You would have to mail the school to verify as well.

c. Unfortunately, some schools (such as Rhine-waal) would insist that you submit the test score of standardized english test.

If the B.Sc program is your FIRST DEGREE, then you may have to compulsorily submit a test score.

But, if you have the funds, it is best practice to just write the test to increase your chances because there are not many options for Summer

This is a personal decision my friend refused to cancel and got AL 2 days to his interview date... Na per head o then currently ban 8s 3 months and no longer 6 months as ppl talk... Take your decision. Even if they ban you by Dec you can be allowed to book again... Give yourself maximum chance since you still have AL in sight.

If there's no AL mail by 2/3pm tomorrow, You can cancel.

Hello Adhheir , I'm writing you personally because I need help answers. I've been asking questions in the house but never gotten a reply from anyone. I understand that it can be rowdy in there and a lot gets lost in the chaos but I would need to ask a couple of questions because I see you always write confidently about these matters. My email is udochux@yahoo.com
I would really appreciate it if you could send me a mail about how you prefer to be contacted. Many thanks in anticipation of your favourable response to this request.
Adhheir:

Visa application will only be possible if you have their resident permit, else you're either coming back to Walter carrington to interview or the Abuja embassy if that's where you resided before your travel.

You can send it via both channels to put your mind at rest.
Send via email and via courier...,
They don't acknowledge receipt.

I sent my BA confirmation via email alone. Must I send via courier??

Some schools insist on an English test (IELTS/TOEFL) while some will accept a letter from your university stating that your undergraduate degree was conducted in English (known as English Proficiency Letter- EPL). You'll have to check the school/course you're applying for to see their requirements. If you don't have a previous BSc/HND and you're going for BSc, I advise you write the English test to increase your chances of gaining admission. Also if you are going for summer, please write the English test. Courses for summer are very limited so you need anything that will favour you/not limit you.

With your enrolment deadline you won't get a date. Just stay hopeful. Since your school has refused to extend enrollment, then seek deferment to summer/next winter.
