Please stop saying that. Are you aware that the oldest secondary school to berth in Anambra and SE at large is DMGS-Onitsha which is own by Anglican Church. Anglican is equally the first mission to arrive in Anambra via Onitsha, from there they spread to other parts of SE.

Anambra is shared between Catholic and Anglican in almost equal proportion. You need to look up for dictionary meaning of word 'predominantly'

I don't blame them, they think the seed they use to wrap around their neck is population.

It’s an insult to compare Willie’s achievement to this. Just Agriculture alone is greater than this lol. Look through the list, no single mention of anything on Agriculture

Anambra is predominantly catholic.U don't need census to tell u that. How many services does Anglican churches do per Sunday, then compare it to Catholic masses.Catholics in Onitsha alone covers the Anglican population in both Awka,Nnewi and Onitsha

New Video of Onitsha.

I think something should be done about truck drivers that never maintain their trucks, park it all over the streets and the trucks always emit plumes of dangerous black smoke.

Onitsha is a key city in Nigeria, undoubtedly the biggest Southeast city today. Anambra State Government should please enforce environmental laws to make the place safe for the teeming population of the city.

Noticed the inner-city roads have been given some attention, which is good!

There should be a concerted effort to improve the general aesthetics of the city! Sweep the roads and clear the gutters on at least a weekly basis; cover the city with trees and green up open spaces with well-tended lawns; evolve adequate waste disposal and management systems; give some order to road signage and remove all excess and unnecessary clutter by the road sides; fix all damaged street/traffic lights; institute a monthly competition among the neigbourhoods whereby the winner gets say 10 million naira to spend as they wish (they could spend it on a community library, a local park, fixing roads, or equipping local schools, etc); etc.

Onitsha already has the money and a good layout as it was generally planned well, all it needs is a little tweaking here and there to bring it up to par!

Why can't you be more concerned about your useless and worthless Imo state? Anambra is mainly dominated by Anglican and Catholic as a one people. Who sought for your opinion on what concerns Anambra people? Useless people

Mission is the reason Anambra is top class in education in Nigeria. This system of running the schools through mission is something the rest of Nigeria should come to Anambra to understudy

Yes the system has worked so well in Anambra State. Other states should take a leaf.

Onitsha like most cities in should be run by neighborhood councils who should be responsible for waste, fixing roads, local schools and parks. Otherwise money is siphoned off by authorities associated with gogovernment.

Abeg make una help me laugh oh, these are Peter Obi's achievements according to the midget liar and clown Valentine Obienyem his media aide, after 8 years as governor, during oil boom and good national economy. This is the achievements they are comparing to Obiano, who has virtually transformed Anambra to a frontline state in Nigeria today. I want to leave this here so next time any of the ignorant clowns will come here again to talk nonsense, I can refer them to this. Ndi ara.. grin grin grin

Internal roads of Electrical International market Obosi-Onitsha metro getting facelift. ANSG gave all the markets in Anambra financial support to attend to their pressing needs. The Electrical International market added their own funds and used it to asphalt all their internal roads within the market. This will further improve the ease of shopping in the market because shoppers come from all over Nigeria and beyond to buy electrical materials. Business will improve and in turn IGR improve .

When we say don't litter the environment, sometimes it's for these ones, very little of sometimes though.
Because it's not only the Labours of our heroes past that need not be in vain, these Labours and the labourers we see or do not see everyday should be awarded with, at least, some discipline on our path.

This is the way we cross Regina Junction: on woods wide and weak, joined like the Calvary wood but this time for Passover and not Crucifix, on both sides of the divide, moving in high speed, cars and bigger cars.

Despite the risk of being runover by a fast one, we cross, because it's better than trek far to the next junction just to use the bridge.

Funny though, this junction is named after a close hospital popular for its mortuary, the famous Regina Caeli Mortuary, obviously for those nailed to this tars, and more, possibly those nailed to beds. But cross we must, to the other side or 'the other side', whichever way, whatever way.
