P0c0p0c0:Highly debatable....especially using the clause "way more liberal". I dont think this could even be objectively determined. However, i think the Northerners are less liberal due to Islam playing a major part. The religion has historically known to preach conservation and less "in your face" kinda lifestyle. Christianity on the other hand has grown to become less strict and conservative. And since majority of Southerners especially Igbos are christians, they are bound to be more liberal in lifestyle, dressing, exposure etc.... Not saying Yorubas arent also liberal, but you would agree with me that a sizeable proportion are Muslims (even tho they might not be fanatic as the Northerners). Hope that wasnt me just rambling...well!!! 7 Likes |

IgANephropathy: There is a reason Northern muslims look down on Yoruba muslims, it is because of their liberalism. Which is in fact a good thing. Using religion as yardstick to say some Yorubas could be more closeminded is DOA. You can't tell the difference between a christian and muslim Yoruba. I have never seen a Yoruba family without a muslim somewhere in their family tree. I stick to my previous submission, Yorubas are way more liberal than Igbos. I won't go further to buttress this, lest it begins to look like a "tribal war". 18 Likes |

Elo and Diane seem more like friends than anything else. As the weeks pass I doubt there’s anything more to grow from their closeness. I’m only happy to see her happy. The guy is more into himself than he is into her. It’s good because I doubt he can handle a relationship. 6 Likes |

I just saw some vigorous movement going on under jambite's duvet. I know I'm not seeing things but choose not to believe Elo went from 0 to 100 in a few minutes. However I remember she did the same with Nelson and Tuoyo in the past so it probably is her way of welcoming potential suitors. Kayode is now avoiding showing her bed like a murder was committed there. |

So I woke up to the whole drama of the strikes that happened. Like I saw the future. The last thing I did before going to bed was giving Ike 60% of my votes. Dear Biggie, Nigerians are not dumb and are emotionally sentimental people, continue like this and ur show will relocate to Obalande under bridge. 22 Likes 1 Share |

P0c0p0c0:I doubt this, judging the fact that Yorubas have more Muslim faithfuls than Igbos, but i think they are just same in liberal minded. Remember, conservative nature of northerners is heavily influenced by religion. 4 Likes 1 Share |

From The Sun, one of the biggest newspaper in the UK. Full article on their website. How they came to the conclusion that she has been 'romped three times' by Ekpata Gedoni is baffling. Apparently Khafi asked for permission to go on the show, her request was denied but she went anyway. The article was released last night, maybe in a bid to disgrace Khafi. 1 Like

Munzy14: Since you people are discussing conservatism in religion, and not fundamentalism, then I can boldly write that no tribe is more or less conservative than the other. I laugh when Christians accuse Muslims of being conservative when they are just as conservative. However, if we are talking conservatism as per refusing innovation and sticking to traditional ways, I would say the Northerners are very socially conservative, especially the Kanuris. Hausas and Fulanis are a little more liberal and accommodating than the Kanuris. Between Yorubas and Igbos, it is hard to tell who is more liberal or less socially conservative. Both tribes have been greatly influenced by religions such as Christianity and Islam. The Igbos are largely Catholic and Catholicism is also very conservative just like Islam. 5 Likes |
