I love buying full thank too cos most times I’ll have enough cash on me and I’ll be praying to see rider than can take cash and transfer into my account or use d money to buy full tank until a professional advised me not to always buy full tank. One it will add to the weight on d car. Two Ur tank need air space. So since then I try to buy what my car would use for a day.

But in all, we still end up being friends. grin

But some experts says it's better to buy full tank than buying half, quarter tank every now and then.

No matter how we try to maintain peace on this thread someone will just come to cos trouble or fight and insult.
Since today looks like a day to motivate.

I will like to Motivate or Encourage Graduates here. If u not a graduate yet pls hustle, add schooling or certification to ur plan. I was out of job from January and immediately decided to do E-hailing myself cos I thought u can net 350k every month without stress.
cut d long story short.
I kept on driving and pushing my C.v and contacts, talking to riders who cares and can help.
By July i got a job to resume immediately.
Now this is my point d mentality of an average Nigerian is dt u cant get a job easily, there is no job anywhere, u need connections. but as I speak my coy is still looking for 2 share point Expert since June. there is always Job for experience people, for fresh graduate it may be a little hard. so pls graduates lets keep developing ourselves, write exams and certification. because my few months driving wasn't funny, even though its my own car, the stress is not equal to money.

on my way home at times, i see lastma or tout and I will quickly arrange, even when im not driving, the mental stress n fear alone is killing.

Thought of dropping this for someone dt is almost giving up on Job search in Nigeria or feels it's not possible to get well paying job.
If u have faith in God all things are possible.
No matter d surge I made sure I never missed church on sundays n mid week services.

I want to say thank you to all d Elders, ur info, updates and quick responses to issues here is outstanding.

Thank you

Let me tell you one funny one grin

It was a Saturday. It just finished raining. I was at Agungi with my tinted Camry 04 cool. Request entered and I got to pickup.

One woman came out. She probably was rich because she had maids at her disposal. Na so she enter my car

Me:Good morning ma

She: Oga, why is the body of your car dirty? Why is your car dirty? Why can't you people clean your cars?

Me: I wanted to explode. But then I decided to beg her. After all, my money go still complete Abi?

I was begging her and begging... She just kept on complaining and I kept begging. I switched off my radio and increased my AC

Got to Ikoyi bridge and I was hearing someone snoring. Madam don sleep

Didn't wake her till we got to MMA2 roundabout. Ended the trip and looked her in the eyeball and apologized again

She smiled shyly and then she said "I'm sorry for how I spoke to you. I shouldn't have talked to you like that. I'm sorry"

Most times its better to just let them feel like a boss. It's just for a while...
You are very correct my brother, someone once sent me an apology message last year November. He apologized for the way she spoke to me, that day I almost retaliated but I managed to control myself.
I refused to delete the message, when I first read the message I shed tears.
I did because it dawned on me that sometimes the person may be misbehaving because of something else that you may not even know, I try as much as possible to manage stubborn riders, being coordinated and making sure car is always neat especially inside have been helpful.
People are going through a lot having this at the back of your mind will help you to overlook their misbehaviors

I got a request someday from that Onipanu toll gate(the #20 own)

Rider: Oga where you?
Me:Good after....

She just interrupted me

Rider: Please come to Mobil at the express

She kept calling... I kept picking and she kept shouting

In my mind, I planned to go there, allow her sit down, cancel the trip and insult her

Na so I reach the Mobil. She entered

Rider: I'm so sorry for shouting at you. My other phone fell into the gutter and it can't be removed.. I'm just frustrated. I'm sorry

Na so I weak. grin

She kept calling and I was shouting "that's how all of you behave" I was taking her calls and driving in the busy road which I so much detest, got to her pickup point she I guess she was humbled by my personality. The next thing she said "Oga good afternoon Sir" thank God you are here my phone was almost dead. Yeye, I just looked at her and said it's okay.

Lol, the other day they told me to pass my cotton bud and all were using it like the poor thing offended them.
Sometimes they also want you to leave change for them, I used to be mad at them not anymore. I rather pity them because of what they are passing through, it's easy for them.

to me u are careless. I got a request one day, got to pick up, d rider was standing close to a Camry. He said d driver fuel finish so he has gone to buy fuel inside Jerican so he had to order another ride. Once my fuel show red I’ll put of my both apps and go get fuel b4 i come back on line. I can count d numbers of time my fuel go red. I always buy 3k fuel everyday and it’s ok for d day. Hope u get a mechanic today.

Sometimes the comments I see here just gets me weak. How did this your comment help his situation?
Let's stop this holier than thou rubbish. He needs help, if you can't help just face front. He already knows by now that he was careless. Lets try and apply emotional intelligence when dealing with situations.

Lol. Accidents can happen anytime between the hrs of 6:30am-6pm, same hrs you operate.

I asked because it seems you have shortchanged yourself. The only time I did that, I knew I was going to file for claims. Please insure your car, I use AxaMansard.

Is your insurance comprehensive or third party?

Hello everyone,
I'm new here and I intend to go into the business.
I have a car and I intend to use it myself.
How do I register with uber or taxify and what I need to bring and how many days will that take me start?
Lastly I have other business so I intend to use 50 hours of my time in a week for uber or taxify or both, from your experience in the business, how much should be my expected income?

Thanks alot for your contribution
