what i really love about him is giving rohr a chance to do his job without interference. Amanju wants the best for our football and as well knows what the super eagles needs to get better which is the main reason rohr was retained.

The man has made so many sacrifices, funding the SE, Super Falcons, U23, 20,17 and at same time fighting ministry of sports is not easy

No! You for kuku talk say I no get sense na.

But Iwobi, Omeruo and Simon have also moved. While many are established players in their teams.

None of those three moved on the back of their Afcon exploits. The only person I could credit with such move, if he had moved was Etebo, who shone in Egypt.

About Iwobi, he made what I would call a backward movement. Moving from an elyte89 club to a midtable Everton isnt wowing.

Omeruo cemented his move with his display last season for Leganes, not bkus of his display in Egypt. Same with Aina

Moses Simon made another backward movement, moving from a better league and club to one inferior to his parent club. Maybe his Afcon exploits helped him here bkus he didn't cover himself in glory, in his first season at Levante.

That said, none of those three players made upward movement unlike Osimhen and Onyekuru.

Story story.... u don't like Osimhen period!

The guy has been in the limelight since that u-17 world cup! Okereke at that time wasn't known . That only gives Osimhen an edge over him in terms of popularity...

All ur boys are championship and league 1 materials... they haven't proved themselves at a higher level and thus have nothing on the likes of Osimhen, Iheanacho etc that u continually try to downgrade!

I responded in depth to your first post directly with specific clarity dissecting each of one of your issues.

I assumed a degree of education so you can respond with some level of objectivity.

But you have just made evasive sentiment led NOISE, it's most disappointing.

Osi scored a brace in the first game of 38 and Nigerians are already comparing him to Mbappe grin grin grin Haba! this is sacrilege angry
Osi has a very very very long way to go before he can smell Mbappe azz, that is if Mbappe decides to cool off instead of improving.
The Press should cut the dude some slack and allow him focus on his career instead of blowing an early trumpet which can destroy him.
I hope Osi is smart enough to ignore all the accolades and focus on improving on his touches and positioning so he can keep banging in more goals.
I wish him the very best and an injury free season with Lille
It is the Drogba comparism that scares me. Small time now the boy will hit a rough patch and the insults will come raining in. I really pray they leave him alone to continue shinning.

You can pass your message without the subtle insults. It is not necessary, that said Osihmen has had a good start. We await more surprises

Once ppl hear new words or phrase that sounds sweet, they start using it, not having any idea what it means or what context that best suits it.

He was injured prior to AFCON. There were options available, so to me, I felt he was picked as a compensation. Same with Shehu.
Danielnino00:

Simon was forced on Rohr?? do u have proof? cus its a well known fact that Simon has been one of Rohr favorite player since he took over..
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by somehow: 1:44pm On Aug 13, 2019
Context. I said to the Nations cup, not overall.

charlesemeka85:
U lied, shehu and Moses Simon have been Rohrs trusted and dependable players from the first day he took charge. Simon only missed the world cup due to injury while the German preferred shehu to Aina citing that shehu defends better.

Mehn!!! John Ogu just confirms what a close guy of mine told me about Osimhen. He played with Osimhen as Osimhen's senior in the team they played together in and he says Osimhen is one stubborn and tough lad. Doesn't know how to give up and has unbeatable mental strength. The lad is strong headed and has a burning hunger to rise above any limit.

John Ogu speaks the truth. But I would say he (Osimhen) and Chukwueze look like the ones "for now" that will reach the 80-100million euros/pounds
transfer ceiling for a Naija player.
I trust a few others would still rise into such class going forward alongside Osimhen and Chukwueze. smiley

Nice catch Marvellous Basco. wink

Said the lad got in training ground bust up with Leon Balogun of all people.

ChrisKels:

I have never seen u this smart. In fact, the players Rohr chose to ignore in the Afcon have been the ones making great moves this transfer window

You claimed those ignored are the ones making great moves this transfer window. It's not about their exploits getting them a move.

Therefore, as it stands, some of those who were not ignored still got a great move.

Alex Iwobi move might not look great to your but it's indeed good to him because of his fat wages. It is not like Arsenal are contending for the league.

Yes! Omeruo sealed his move to leganes after his display last season but something acted as the catalyst for the club to pay his fee. A lot of work was done to make it happen.

If moving from La Liga to Ligue 1 is a backward move then Ronaldo and Lukaku made a backward move to Seria A.

Did I hear you say Nantes is an inferior club? grin

For your information, Nantes is more successful than Lillie and Bordeaux in France and as per with Monaco. grin

Sorry did any Nigerian player move to Bordeaux this summer? About Lille, they last won the ligue1 in the 2008/09 season as opposed to Nantes' in 2000. Would u advice a player to join Aston Villa ahead of Everton bkus Aston Villa has been more successful than Everton, or Nottingham Forest ahead of Leicester? We live in the present bro, not past.

Nantes finished ahead of Lillie in the last two previous seasons before this pass season.

Ligue 1 is erratic because teams keep changing. Every season, players are sold and have to be replaced.
