QuotaSystem:pls go back n read my write up carefully, then you will discover the similarities in our views but while mine is out of national harmony considerations, yours is simply out of your worship for buhari, everyone must not support buhari, who has buhari ever supported himself?,the goodness of the nation is far superior to the very false claims of buhari's righteousness, I'm not a fan of buhari either. |

Ziggylady: Sorry but the Presidency is going to the SW/SS. No amount of insults or belly aching can change that. I'm sure you recall my prediction of Atiku's imminent failure (https://www.nairaland.com/4777914/throwback-why-atiku-lose-core); mark the bolded and see you in 2023. I laugh in INEC server |

Deepthoughts: I like how you conveniently avoided my other questions and focused on your dislike for Buhari. Who mentioned that he is righteous? I only asked a perfectly rational and logical question which you were clearly unable to answer hence your laughable resort to the tired claim of Buhari worship . I think you ought to go through the post again without your dislike for PMB to understand how unreasonable it is for you to suggest zoning the candidacy of the major parties to a region that is unwilling to work for the presidency. Besides why don't they want to work for what they desire so badly? Wouldn't the SE building bridges towards 2023 promote national harmony? Or is national harmony only possible when we bend backwards for the SE? 1 Like |

Deepthoughts:It's not going to happen that both parties present igbo candidates for president. It would even be impossible for either PDP or APC to present an igbo candidates. The igbos don't have much political capital at the moment. They don't have one political figure they can unify under, not even 10. They don't have a discernable political agenda. Some want Biafra, some want president, others want political appointments ,others still want physical and economic developments. Then worse still, there is voter apathy in the south east. So the voting strength in the East is poor, even when compared to the south south. The presidency was not given to the yorubas on a platter of gold. They have been fighting for it from the time of Awolowo culminating in the June 12 impasse. The north was presented with no choice but to concede power to the south west. Where is the igbo struggle for power. After the January 1966 coup and take over by general ironsi, we have not seen a strong igbo bid for power - both politically or otherwise. 6 Likes |

Ziggylady:The difference is we don't go about wailing, crying and trying to emotionally blackmail others because of our Political misfortune unlike our blodas. Records/history has shown that the east has form more alliance and allegiance to the North than any other region, still you won't see others calling them traitors, betrayals and all sort of names because of their political decision, but despite a substantial 45% of the west voting for pdp in 2015 and even more westerners voting for Atiku THAN the easterners(with an igbo VP) in 2019, the wailing of the bush babies won't still stop in lumping a whole tribe and region and calling them all sort of names. it's also on record that the most vocal critics of this government are Yorubas, but how can you pacify a hate-filled bush baby? Even when Obj was the president his greatest opposition were his people. Amaechi, Akpabio, El Rufai etc are polical merchants sourcing for patronage, we see them as such here and we don't ascribe them a demi-god status like you guys do. When the Yorubas aided Jonathan in taking his rightful place as president after the demise of Yaradua and helping his reelection in 2011 where were you? So if a majority of them decides otherwise in 2015, why can't you respect their choice and move on? And just to let you know the Yorubas love not only igbokwe, idumodu, akabueze but every law abiding citizens living in our domain provided they live by the terms and conditions of their host, and the immigration demographics attest to that. It's a one way traffic from the East to the West. Yorubas don't hate Atiku (we have no reasons to hate him), that more Yorubas preferred Buhari to Atiku doesn't translate to hate. More Yorubas voted for Atiku than Igbos (2019 election result attest to this). Most of the people that spoke in support of the shittes are yorubas...talk another one... lol. 6 Likes |

Haha, the Igbos should better start strategizing now on how to get the 2023 presidential ticket of PDP and meet the mighty Yoruba at the polls. Rather than finding means to emerge, they are busy praying the north hate Yoruba or Kwakwanso to emerge. The Yorubas are one of the wisest tribes in Nigeria, the reason is simple, we’ve learnt to control our emotions and we don’t go about abusing a whole people just because of the activities of a few. The Igbos hate Buhari which they may have their justification, but they took the hate on most northerner by calling them cow, killers, and all sort of barbaric words. Atiku lost not because he’s not loved by the people, he lost the moment he picked an Igbo as a vice. The Igbo need just one thing to emerge and that is controlling their emotions. You can hate on people which is normal but you don’t necessarily need to call them unthinkable names to drive your point. Criticize devoid of insults and people will listen to what you’re saying. I really feel sorry for them coz it’s not easy to be a majority and yet be left out in the scheme of things. They are even scared to come out for PDP primaries coz they know they’ve burnt too many bridges and the PDP itself will dare not make a mistake of putting an Igbo man on the ballot. A northerner or SS’ner has a greater chance of emerging. 4 Likes 1 Share |

I keep wondering where Tinubu will get his votes from. Even Yoruba christians will not vote him, bet me. So Yorubas should stop jubilating already. There is nothing for them come 2023 |

Did APGA back stab PDP in your region? Majority of the PDP clowns you are ranting on their behalf have moved to APC They understand its just a game, a by Nigerian standards a very dirty one Yorubas have never claimed to be adept at politics, in fact we have lost too many leaders at it But a few of us understand its a game and like any game strategies not emotions wins. You claim to be a woman so your emotional outbursts are understandable but should not be encouraged Are you saying if your spouse supports a different political party you would file for divorce and claim betrayal? please grow up Ziggylady: 3 Likes |

theomerio: Let me ask you this also. In 2011, the northerners voted Jonathan to some extent and he was able to win the election. To be honest, the north are not that tribalistic as we thought, it’s just that they always like voting people in which their alliance is protected. They voted Abiola remember, they voted Obasanjo in 2003 also remember. Tbh, most people knows the Igbos are being maltreated, but the Igbos have to blink first, try to control your emotions, stop abusing other tribes unprovoked, stop calling people cow, illiterates and other stuffs and try to forge alliance. The SW region is very easy to please, if Igbos can show decorum and attempt to build bridges I’m very sure the Yorubas will support their cause. Again, the Yoruba are the only region in Nigeria that is very easy to please. Back to your question, you don’t know the Yorubas, the religious division is only in the minds of the Igbos, the Christians won’t even blink or care about Tinubu religion. 5 out of the 6 current SouthWest governors are Christians, have you even seen the Muslim wailing about that? To cap it, I’m not sure Tinubu will contest, coz if he does he won’t win SouthWest overwhelming because people perceive Tinubu as old and I think Tinubu will nominate Osinbajo or Fashola. The SW need to be sure of 85% vote from the SW for its presidential candidate. If we can have in our region with that percentage then we can depend on the NW and NE for their support. NC will be shared among the two parties. 1 Like 1 Share |

No you are very wrong. From a very impeccable source, the 2023 Presidential election will produce a winner from the S/East. All these talks is just to divert attention from the person. Even Buhari, Tinubu, Oshiomole and El-Rufai had all agreed that the SE will produce the President in 2023. hammerVJ: 1 Like |

Notwithstanding the religious liberalism among the Yorubas, I think pragmatism points to an Osinbajo or Fayemi vs a Fashola. Fashola MAY be the soundest amongst the three (open to debate of course) but his religion may work against him. Not from the Yorubas, who don’t care really, but a Muslim Muslim ticket will not work with Islamization fears. The MB and SS and even some SE (when push comes to shove, most SE would prefer a christain from anywhere to another Muslim again for 8 yrs whether his name is Tambuwal or Kwankwaso) will rather rally around a Christain President than a Fashola. Sad, but just the way the world is now. People may not take that chance of Muslim Muslim ticket again. The Far Northerners will prefer a Muslim VP. Most likely from the North East.Boss Mustapha is the only prominent NE Christian in APC but he has never won or run for elective office because religion comes first there. Maybe Ribadu, or some dark horse like that Yobe Governor Mai Mala Buni who is young and obviously a good party player (was APC general sec) and can take over after 8 years. The only thing to dislike about this is the NC/MB. It will mean they have to wait for donkey years to be President. Maybe they can replace the North East( if the Buhari cabals will allow) and I wouldn’t bet against the Nasarawa and Niger governors in that scenario. Anyone that chooses El-Rufai is on his own though, as he may not last his 8 years in office before something happens to his aircraft LegendHero: 1 Like |

Ziggylady: Like someone already observed here, you portray yourself as a frustrated bitter old lady battling with early menopause. I understand. You need to get a grip on your emotions darling. Your laughable juvenile attempt to get me to reveal my identity is dead on arrival , you can't possibly be this ineffective . Have you heard any Fulani complaining of being demonized? Lol who cares ? It is because we know our stance in this country politically, militarily and otherwise. Hate as much as you want but you must bow and kiss the Fulani ring if you will ever get any political relevance not to talk of Presidency. It is a fact you know yourself. Whats more? Even if you want to escape to Beerfra or restructure, you still need to appease us to get our votes in the NASS to amend the constitution (highlighting the emotionally driven LEGENDARY foolishness of your kind in antagonizing those you will need in the future ). That is asides the fact that we know we can easily get any Igbo man to lick salt off our palms once the price is right. Ask Joe Igbokwe, Orji Kalu etc. (Oh and you guys are still the most hated, detested, arrested, detained, hanged & killed in the GLOBAL community from India to China to Cambodia ) The RUGA (fulani settlement) furore is frankly laughable and highly indicative of your ignorance because dozens are already under your noses. At last count, Anambra has 23 Fulani Settlements (RUGA) - according to the Governor himself when he was begging Fulanis to stay in Anambra (https://punchng.com/fulani-recall-your-order-arrogant-southern-leaders-others-tell-nef/ ). Jokes on you sweetheart ...your elders are much wiser so the worthless opinion of irrelevant hacks like you is useless . My dear, your estrogen filled rants cannot change the fact that the SOUTH WEST has the highest likelihood to succeed PMB for the simple fact that the SE which should ordinarily be next up, is totally handicapped, politically worthless and is too frozen in hate to do anything about it. I know it can be deeply frustrating. Pele! 1 Like |
