Heard Rohr was the one who advised onyekuru to move to Monaco when the latter was insisting on returning to Galatasaray on loan from Everton.

Maybe Baba don warn am say "Grab that move if you want to be in contention in SE" grin grin grin

Ligue 1 is erratic because teams keep changing. Every season, players are sold and have to be replaced.

That's nothing buh the truth. Imagine if Monaco had built on their last 3 seasons' exploits ,where they dethroned Paris Saint Mugabe

You dey mind them. To see them celebrating Onyekuru's transfer to Monaco, makes me wonder whether they are talking about the Monaco of 3 years ago or the current Monaco team that barely escaped relegation last season shocked

O pari

forgiveness:

You claimed those ignored are the ones making great moves this transfer window. It's not about their exploits getting them a move.

Therefore, as it stands, some of those who were not ignored still got a great move.

Alex Iwobi move might not look great to your but it's indeed good to him because of his fat wages. It is not like Arsenal are contending for the league.

Yes! Omeruo sealed his move to leganes after his display last season but something acted as the catalyst for the club to pay his fee. A lot of work was done to make it happen.

If moving from La Liga to Ligue 1 is a backward move then Ronaldo and Lukaku made a backward move to Seria A.

Did I hear you say Nantes is an inferior club? grin

For your information, Nantes is more successful than Lillie and Bordeaux in France and as per with Monaco
.

Bkus they had a trojan in Awaziem who never let anything go behind him, as he marshalled the Nantes defense.

I agree with ur last line, the ligue1 can be as erratic as the joystick of a man suffering from weak erection

It's because of the coach, Claudio Ranieri.

Prior the unfortunate injury that put a cog in his wheel, he was simply unplayable and the whole French media were single his praises

He was not bad but their success can't be attributed to only Awaziem.

Before the injury..

Nigeria puts a lot of attention on under aged tournaments. That’s where we get to win gold. Warri go say “at all at na em bad”. You should expect that just because Nigerians have been following these players from that level, most of those players will be fan favorites.

komekn:

That proposition in bold is the anchor of favoritism and sentiment based preference. You have indicted yourself before the players has proven himself you have already earmarked him for glory and umerited selection.

Then you confirm your bigotry and double standard. It was OK to give umerited accolades to Osimhen but not Ok for justifiable accolades to Okereke. "What's good for the goose is good for the gander".

For those with a bit more football understanding know that youth football is only indicative but far from conclusive.

Everything in football is short term. To be underpin the inclusion of a striker on the basis of youthful glories of two years priory is ill advised at best at worst ludicrous. However , if you are Superdelusuional then it make sense to your befuddled mind that is unable to decipher between fantasy and objective reality. But to any other person with a balanced mind recognises such sentiments as futile in determining quality.

We are currently doing the same thing with KC for the past three seasons his last season at City was poor. We still keep looking at him instead of looking for players currently perfoming.

When a player is not perfoming we simply put him to one side pending when he will start to perform and look for those that are currently performing.

One season doesn't make a player it takes a few seasons to get consistency.
