What did I do?
- Erase every thought of meeting target; cos other guys here dey make the money. I dropped my target, which was $6 a day to just getting a good rating, for a start.
- pick short calls(I started with 3 mins, then 5, now I can do 10 mins.
- Read the FAQ well, as well as the sample Transcript, common mistakes, and ratings guidelines.
- picked only good calls. Now I can do FC....UK
- I used PC, cos that's what's favours me.
- Also I asked questions here, and I got answers.

Mostl importantly, I made myself see that this is not a quick money scheme, and I'll have to grow in it.

That is not correct. Several time, I've had to start from beginning of a call I was unable to finish, and it never gave me, what I transcribed earlier.

Well, Chrome on PC does give me back my typed text on every occasion for a clip I've worked on before. The time stamps may just be all rep. I don't know if anyone else experiences this, but all I just do is go to the timestamps and edit. I also get previously typed text back when I use the back and refresh when time elapses.

Are the audios clearer than qa world?


I would assume that they would bring all sorts of audios because it's not as regulated as qa

after spending like 5 hours on a 29minutes call..it wasn't easy but I had a smooth run because of the auto transcript there already and also the two speakers were audible. omoh, if I see anything like 1 or 2..that would be the last time I will do long calls.

is the pounds sign among any of those? If not try adding the UK keyboard to Windows by going to: Control Panel > Clock, Language and Region > Keyboards and Languages > Change Keyboards > Add.

1 did 2 last night and I was happy cos I checked everything there only to wake up this morning to 1 and 2 respectively. Mehn I weak but I'm not giving up yet. I'll take a break today to work on the corrections.

I have read through the threads back and forth, watch videos and all please I need a one on one. Please.

Just listen to one to five timestamps to note the different speakers. Once you note the two people speaking, listen to their conversation. From their conversation you can decipher who is the rep and the customer. And for the 1 and 2 ratings, don't worry, we all started out like that. You'll get the hang of it. I just started last week Thursday and I am on constant 4 and 5 ratings now.

Just did a 2min call from Ijendu Uba. Though, be had foreign accent, the 5 rating was instant.
Not celebrating yet though. I've learnt not to celebrate my ratings till late Sunday. So as to avoid unnecessary heartbreak.

As said before, try not to get too carried away with the money first. Considering when you joined, you should not have done a call that long. Once you've gotten the hang of it, you'll do calls and get tired.

Honestly I was depressed considering the time I spent getting the work done but then I read this thread from page1-page 57 (the last page then) and saw how much people failed and never gave up. That was enough to motivate me.
