Investors should remain patient and avoid the perils of performance-chasing.
The best performing stock today could be the worst tomorrow, and vice-versa.
"the investor of today does not profit from yesterday’s growth"warren buffet.
investing is a marathon and not a sprint. If you have a five-year investment horizon, remember to keep a long-term view – don’t worry too much about your returns for the first few years. When it comes to investing, patience is rewarded.
The NSE has been one of the best in the past and now one of the worst in the world.
The market will surely return to it is peak. When?
No one can tell, Not even the crystal ball analysts.
No graph or waves could.
It could get worse, it could get better.
The intelligent thing anyone could do is to stay invested, accumulate more if you could.
Wishing you all a joyful trading week ahead.
HAPPY to announce the birth of my beautiful daughter. She arrived yesterday @23hr00.Both mum and baby are fine. A sign of the arrival of fruitfulness in Nigeria and NSE as revealed by Jehovah . May God bless our hussling. Our Labour in life shall not be in vain. Amen.
Help us to thank Jehovah Almighty for the beautiful gift from God.

STOCK MARKET GUIDE FOR 14 AUGUST 2019

MSCI still has a clean slate.

These equities be avoided this week NBL, FBNH, GTB, Zenith, May & Baker downside momentum is strong. MTN is one of our buy choices this week, plus a no loss pick, yes you can buy shares and not suffer loss

If you corner a company with positive shareholders earnings, currently profitable, has the probability of delivering a good result at year end , has a low risk business model and is currently selling at NGN0.20, what do have to lose. Naturally you have nothing to lose, except your capital that will be tied down for like 2 months, but note that you are protecting yourself from tying down money by making up your mind that you will hold for a short time and 20% gain will be okay. Proverbially, I will say this is Coca-cola without sugar, did I hear zero Coke or Zero loss!!!.

If the bears decide to continue, then I will add some no loss strategy to my stock market investing arsenal.

Caution: This is for information purpose only. Data used are assumed to be correct. However, you may want to verify the data from an appropriate source. Also, Institutions can afford to suffer big losses without going burst compared with an individual, you cannot follow them blindly (you need to at least have some knowledge/your own plan). I have said it time without number that this is global.
I wonder how some fellows keep making it look like it is peculiar to NSE or Bubu's government here.
The earlier we accept the real issues, the better we can react to protect our investments, because only then will strategies be holistic enough in taking every necessary parameters before making detailed investment decisions.
For me for example, I have never waited as long as I have this time, to let prices fall while averaging down on some stocks and it continues to pay off based on my strategy. [When annual dividend from Zenith alone can buy you a car every year {if na car you want}, what are you looking for again?] grin
When I found it necessary to hold some assets in USD, the Eurobond vehicle was the quickest and best decision instead of investing in the NYSE for example.
I am still waiting for more valuable blue chips to bend down even lower in the NSE.
Opportunity comes but once in a long while.
Continue with what works best for you.
Happy investing to you all.

At this junction cash is king, as I go through international news, from US and China trade war, with China devaluing their currency and and preparing for Its Nuclear option, https://oilprice.com/Energy/Energy-General/China-Prepares-Its-Nuclear-Option-In-Trade-War.html with European economic melt down, one can concluded that Nigeria stock surviving the bear soon might be far from achieving.

We might soon see ASI at 25,000. I think the best option is to stay behind and allow the current global trade war and crude oil influence to settle down.
