The problem is that Ceballos is coming really deep to get the ball and give the midfield some balance and control consequently, it takes some time before we are able to build anything upfront because he is too deep. Introducing Torreira will resolve that problem because he has the ball technique/ ball control to break the press and that will keep Ceballos higher up to string the passes.

He’s doing the job of the box to box. But he’s coming too deep and covering lots of distance I hope he doesn’t gas out too soon.

Nobody in the midfield has the technique/ skill to beat the press deep in our half. If one of Guen/ Willock could beat the press and push the ball forward creatively Ceballos would not need to come that deep unnecessarily.
