I submitted on May 9th and checked yesterdday morning, it has changed to Administrative process, when i checked the status of the person we both submitted together on the same day and time is showing issued. We both went to US on the same trip and came back the same day,Pls im really concerned about this. Do i really need to be worried?

Yours is work in progress then. I don't think you should be worried, they just need to carry out their checks. Admin Processing takes hours, days, weeks and sometimes months. so I'm sure yours will change to issued any moment now.

I filled a visa form last year and also paid the visa fees but could not get a suitable date as the conference i was supposed to attend. so i left everything for this year and so later this year, i picked August for my interview. the challenge is that i needed to update my visa application form with the latest informations as the conference venue and date has changed. how do i update my visa form. should i fill another one and go with both this new one and old one. i am confused

The questions asked in the form are basic. you should be able to recall them if indeed you truthfully filled the form.

Cancel the form and start afresh. This time fill it yourself, with truthful information.

I hope you didn't use an agent. If yes then I don't think anyone can help you. Except the agent gave you your code, username etc.

What are the document she needs to take to the embassy?

Why do you wanna sleep at the embassy ? Is that your home? Lodge in a hotel in Victoria Island. So you have money to pay for visa and holiday expenses but DEAD BROKE when it comes to lodging in a hotel for one night before your interview? My fellow Nigerians , you guys never cease to amaze me.

Oga, arrive a day before and book a hotel closer to the embassy. There are cheaper hotels in Obalende. You can't sleep at the embassy.

Just to provide feedback on my dropbox experience. I initially submitted my passport for dropbox on the 9th of May (just before it was cancelled). However, I had to retrieve my passport on 31st May to make 2 trips to Europe in June and July. When I returned at the end of July, I sent an email to the embassy asking what I should do. I immediately got a response to resubmit my passport which I did on July 30. I received a mail on August 14 to pick up my passport which I did yesterday and my visa was issued. Seems my retrieval and trips helped accelerate my visa issuance. I also did not use my last US visa in the 2 years (my last US trip was 3 years ago) despite traveling at least 4 times every year.

No you cant sleep at the embassy.
Why did you pick a 645am slot?
There is 10k hotel at Obalende axis, or Lagos Island proper.
Find a friend in Lagos who will accommodate you, Yaba, Surulere, Obalende axis, give him the 10k. Take Uber and Taxify at 6am. You'd be there 645am...
Options are endless

I helped her fill her DS 160 and I didn't see any where language to be interviewed with was specified.

My own ish here is that if they "dare" refuse this person a visa, then are "we" all in trouble! Can this person prove the real intent isn't to jakpa? Abegggiii!
