I guess this means you are married then, just to be clear on family cuz your wife or husband back home is a good tie If you are single, that is not a strong tie as having a parent back at home is not an 100 percent guarantee that you would come back to your home country Advil: |

Yea You can get stronger ties through a job, a business back home, landed property, and maybe something else I can’t think of now. But your family (parents) is not a strong tie. Advil: |

fogechi: Hello Fogechi, Tuition payment is not mandatory before applying, but however, you can as well pay for either the 1st semester/year or for the full program if the funds is available. It will be advisable to pay, especially if you using a third party sponsorship or being self-sponsored. Bear in mind that the $10k CAD is required to be shown. Good luck! |

Thanks Boss for the swift response, indeed am really great full, from the school’s website, I found the tuition and other fees regarding the program to be almost 4 million for the 8 months program, in addition to the 10,000 CAD for living expenses, it sums up to N6,730,000 but I didn’t include flight expenses in the 8m in my SOA, it’s in a separate account BlessedOBA: |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by JustMellow: 3:04pm On Aug 18, 2019 |
fogechi: A self-sponsored applicant must take into consideration certain things like: 1. Your marital status, how you intend to show your home ties 2. Financial status, how you intend to meet the cost of your studies with the required $10K CAD LE per year and tuition fees for at least 1yr showed/paid. 3. Do you have a stable/reliable job or business that can solidly be shown as source of funds that will be going into your account to reflect a good closing sitting balance and inflow/outflowand 4. Is the worth of your properties when sold be enough to cover your 1st semester or year tuition fees and LE, and still have extra left to show for subsequent year (if your program is 2yrs). 5. Apart from you job or business, can you show/do you have any economic investment that can show your level of establishment in your country. Try to assess your situation, and if it doesn't come close to any of the aforementioned points, its advisable to either get a sponsor or co-sponsor. Best of luck! 1 Like |

naco20: The ones that don’t require application fees are the ones you should steer clear from. But there are ways around the application fee issue. You could request for an application fee waiver and hear what the school says. However only do this if you are applying for some sort of scholarship. If you intend to fund yourself, paying your app fees will serve to show the school in a small measure that you can handle your costs leading to a speedy admission process. Good luck. 1 Like |

Funny, I can't possibly apologize for being me, i don't necessarily feel like I have wrong anyone, just that I understand some people are overly sensitive so I try my best to drop their pat words so they don't distract us from the main purpose here, that's me trying the win win so everyone will be happy. , . Hello Guys, Been receiving just too many negative reports about study Visa refusals. Does Canada really give Study Visas at all? Almost all the notable agents are advising their Students to look elsewhere. I need your candid advice because I would love to study in Canada as well. |
