what is the fate of those who already funded their BA with 8640 and have appointment in September ?

I have noticed it’s essential to top up to the said required amount as long as you’ll be doing your City registration after 1st sept in DE, come winter...

You have to top up. Even if you manage to get visa with €8,640 when you get to Germany the foreign office will ask you to top up before they issue you resident permit (without resident permit you cannot get a job).

I havent received AM, reason I threw the last question to people who have done it before. However, its logical.
Care concept insurance does not include travel insurance.

Only when the AM comes before we know the true state of all these.
Care concept was recommended by folks over there and there registration was easy.
Cheers!
once your AM show just send that your care concept health insurance certificate if will fly
Hope this helps

I believe your questions have been answered adequately. From my experience, care concept doesn't cover your travel to DE ( I stand corrected). Its the cheapest for a reason.

Buy mansard schengen travel insurance its 14K for 3 months and 17K for 6 months.

Viel glück
are U sure about this cos from what I have observed care concept is just like mawista and mawista covers for travel insurance which I think care concept too should do no need for local ones if U have them
Thank you

Are you sure you’re on the Daad.de website?
Check under overview you’ll find the language of instruction used in teaching, then requirements/registration you’ll see the mode of application underneath...

the info on the website says the new amount applies to visa applications from 1st September. I don't think it applies to those that have applied before then.
It's English na. You won't be required to top up if you've applied before 1st sept.

that isn't correct. Visa application's before 1st september. Not residence application before 1st September.

there is only one way to know who is right na. Let's reach germany. I mailed coracle, cause I funded with them, and they explained this to me. They gave me the option of toping up if i want to. This screenshot is from Xpatrio website.

Somebody said during his interview he asked his VO and the VO told him that the foreigners office will start demanding for the new BA if you land in DE after September 1st. Remember different cities have different rules when it comes to residence permit eg. Some only give 1 year RP and/or will demand for BA when you want to renew while some give 2 years RP and/or don't ask for BA for renewal. It's advisable for every winter applicant who will arrive in DE after September 1st to prepare for topping up in case your city demands you top up before issuing you RP.
Also when someone mailed Fintiba concerning the new BA amount Fintiba said it depends on the embassy so I don't think you should depend on them (the escrow banks) for concrete answer.

Good evening guy. I know this question have been answered in one of the previous pages but I can’t seem to find the page. Please which health insurance is cheap and adequate to register with. Also, will be able to send me my certificate while still in Nigeria because I will be needing it for my online enrollment. Thanks

Wow!

I must have been checking in the wrong place then.

See the links of the ones i have been checking. First link is for the Business Informatics course while the second is for Information Management:

https://www.uni-koblenz-landau.de/en/studies/before-studying/our-degree-programs/bachelor-degree-programs/wirtschaftsinformatik-ba

https://www.uni-koblenz-landau.de/en/studies/before-studying/our-degree-programs/bachelor-degree-programs/informationsmanagement

Please, give me the link to the screenshot you just sent to me so that i can make further research.

Anyway, i think i have been granted closure as regards the BI course. I will now focus on the Information Management course coz it has English Language skills as a requirement (so i am guessing the study language is English too).

I appreciate your responses, sis.

Thanks for your input, bro.

However, i do not do my main research on Daad. After getting a school lead on Daad, i head over to the school's main website and make further inquiries.

Also, i doubt those courses are listed on Daad. I had to search them out manually on their website.

But i will be happy if you point it out to me though.

Thanks again, bro

I don't know about the information management course but I can check too.

Requiring that the applicants have English language skills does not necessarily mean that the language of instruction is English, it could still be German. In this case, some modules in the course are taught in English while some are taught in German wink...

You should check out Rhein Waal University of Applied Science for computer science related courses taught in English (Bsc).

Really, i have been checking in the wrong place.

The language of Instruction is also German for the IM course.

I will now strike off University of Konblenz-Landau from my list. I cant deal.

Thanks for your direction.

I sincerely appreciate!

Yea, i have them in view as well. But ALL their B.Sc courses begin in Winter. I have eyes on their Mobility and Logistics B.Sc course.

Lets see what Summer has to offer local man first. Keeping our fingers crossed.
