I think the reason is simply that impotent men are rare. For those who don't know, a man is said to be impotent if his d**k cannot be aroused. E no dey stand. Yes, it's a rare reproductive condition. |

grandstar: Let me come in here, u don't seem to understand the angle he is coming from. He means that if only one sperm is responsible for fertilization, how come low sperm count is claimed to be the cause of infertility in some quarters? Here, its not that the man isn't producing sperms, the sperms he is producing ain't just much. And as Sunnycliff stated, if only one sperm is needed, ain't the rest just escorts? In essence, a man can impregnate a woman even if he produces ONLY ONE SPERM, just like in artificial insemination. No offence intended, Sir |

Lexusgs430: That's not the meaning of impotence, Sir A man is impotent if his deeek does not get erect. It's also called erectile dysfunction. It's a rare medical condition. Maybe, that's why nobody remembers to pray for them |

Ops what you posted up there is the truth and nothing but the truth. Naijamen felt infetility is the woman thing. if only you guys know the amount of bastards you habour in your house as ur childen, you will start testing your fertility and taking it serious as well.infact there should be mass DNA test, you will realise that those children you brag about arent serious. i do not blame the women, i have an uncle who just realized that the 4adult kids arent his. note: he has finished training the kids at master levels before the wife confessed to him that he is impotent. 1 Like 1 Share |

Yampotatocarrot: Point noted and scientific facts accepted. Unfortunately, Bolaji's 2 wives are tired of being childless and accused of being barren. His first wife, Jumoke, was miserable she couldn't give her husband a child after 5 years of marriage and felt it was divine punishment for the countless abortions she had in her merry youth. This compelled her husband Bolaji's to take a 2nd wife after her fruitless 5 years. But something strange happened. Bisi, his new wife, was also fruitless after 5 years. Tongues were now wagging that Bolaji might not be a man as he might be a shooter of blanks. Bolaji hungs his head in shame. His doting mum, who had made life miserable for the 2 wives, was now rather quiet. Bisi now ventures out to taste the ungodly world of adultery and her lover scored a nice goal. Jumoke, who would rather die than let any man other than her husband to touch her does same and is shocked to find out she is carrying twins. The fiction I wrote is the reality. I also 100% accept scientific facts. Truth is, many men with low sperm count, even in the most advanced parts of the world remain childless despite these scientific facts. Science needs to brush up so that facts match reality 1 Like |

grandstar: now assumig jumuko did that before the invention of the 2nd wife, everyone would have been happy and bolaji will be boosting of having twins. brother, the bitter truth is, what u narrated up there is the order of the day, only that women of dis days dont even wait to be called barren before they even start bringing in bastards. our men need to wisen up 1 Like |

NwaAmaikpe: Nobody can be this impossible!!! What about the quality of sperm the man is producing? How about men with premature ejaculation that do that outside the woman? Is she supposed to scoop it up with a spoon in hopes that their still alive? How about the man not being in the mood because of stress or diabetes? How about irregularities caused by the man’s cheating? Oh! How about the man being homosexual? How about the man being impotent?how about....... 1 Like |

grandstar: Wonderful story you got there, I fully understand your point. I also agree with you, although I'll suggest science finds a better culprit to give a bad name, rather than low sperm count, because as you've rightly stated, the facts just don't match reality. |

Sunnycliff: Yeah, as funny as your comment looked, it was actually stating the fact... Kinda similar to what lilbest4 was trying to say in his second statement that "Technically, no man is impotent" (although this could be argued) |

Fayos1: But it takes one sperm to move from the vagina to the oviduct along the fallopian tube to fertilize the egg before implantation in the uterus. All am saying, is that , it takes just one sperm to do this. |
