I wouldn't have commented at all, but the hypocrisy just pissed me off.

One fellow was there preaching against Igbo chest beating, when the entire nairaland today was polluted by Yoruba chest beatings and the preachers were no where in sight.

If you check the thread you’ll see one Igbo guy actually started the chestbeating as usual. What I just did is to bring our statistics to put him in his place and tell him Yorubas clearly dominate.

It’s unhealthy to always turn all thread towards tribalism coz both the Yorubas and Igbos have one time or another won this Cowbellpedia and will still do that in the future.

The first and the second edition of UNICAF Essay competition in Nigeria were won by Yorubas

In fact in the first and second edition you played second place to Yoruba

Even if you check the record of Cowbellpedia past winners from 2010 till date. You would see more Yoruba

Even judging with the current result, Yorubas largely dominate currently and you won’t see us chestbeating about that coz it’s the norm.
