dailydolar: TK issues a separate travel insurance certificate (displaying coverage dates). It's the same for HEK and BarmerK, I'm thinking AOK should be the same (i have no personal experience). I can't say the same for Mawista and Care Concept but recent information tells us people that submitted mawista certificate got their visas with no issues. Maybe care concept would fly, maybe not. Although, I've been to the page and I didn't see where travel insurance was included in the package. Like I said, I stand corrected and someone alleged to have submitted care concept at his interview, hopefully the AM would come without requesting for Travel insurance Thank you 1 Like |

Gbee19:International students have to apply through the international office at University of Paderborn by sending certified hard copies of their documents with the application form. Someone should quote me if I'm wrong o. You can also search for courses available for Summer on Uniassist to see if your intended course is there. Mail- io-info@zv.uni-paderborn.de for further clarification cos I'll be doing that myself tomorrow. Cheers! |

good morning house. Pls I need clarification on this: 1) when does health and travel insurance come in? is it before interview or after AM arrives 2) which of the fintiba downloaded PDF am I supposed to go in with for the interview because I downloaded 3 separate files from fintiba or Anni to go with the 3 of them. a. opening confirmation b. contract details c. make the transfer thank you all for ur usual cooperation. |
Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by danielnwatu(m): 6:12am On Aug 19, 2019 |
kashman411: 1. After AM arrives, you will send your passport and travel insurance to the embassy, by post or by hand. Health insurance will be needed in Germany. 2. I think you should use the Make the transfer. |
Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by walexy06(m): 7:18am On Aug 19, 2019 |
kashman411:Use the opening confirmation. |
Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by Nobody: 7:38am On Aug 19, 2019 |
kashman411: Don’t use opening confirmation, use make the transfer. I fell a victim to this ridiculous advice before and spent 4K at the embassy. Use make the transfer with your account number, amount to transfer written on it. 3 Likes |

Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by armpit: 8:38am On Aug 19, 2019 |
kashman411:I assume you wont be funding before interview..Go with opening confirmation and make the transfer. Staple them together with the opening confirmation being on top. But if you are funding before interview, you wont be needing any of the two. You simply download and printout the blocking confirmation that you will receive and go with it. |

Good day everyone, can I apply for a Bsc course in Germany using O'level certificate apart from private schools? I would like to apply to a public school. Is there a possibility of any school. Or what do you advise? Thanks in anticipated response |

AD for Oct 30th I have admission for TU Chemnitz and enrollment deadline is 29th November , but my preferred school is RUB ....and deadline is first week of November.... What are the odds of me making it to RUB |
Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by sassy92(f): 10:40am On Aug 19, 2019 |
Omoawoke:It's clear that you can't make it to RUB unless they allow you to enrol online/by proxy |
