Darvick: WRONG They do ask the question how long you stayed in each trip on the application form. Check the application form u will see it. If you go to the drop box they stated it days, weekly, monthly and yearly.

owo12: My advice since u are frequent visitor in the UK why not save money and apply for five or ten years to safe you time and gathering documents. ( I know it is expensive but it is the best u can do for your self) Just apply for your visa and be honest in the duration of time u spent in the UK. Since you did not break immigration rules for overstaying more than 180 days in each visit. What u have is two years multiple visa and it is also meant for frequent travelers. They are different circumstances that can make one to stay five months in the UK. I believe that ECO will not deny you visa if u are honest in y application and give geniue reasons for frequent trips. Expect if ECO sees that through y frequent visit, that you are trying to make UK your second home that is where he can make objection. My second advice, give your self some time before you apply again. If you don't have a job look for one, through a job u can get documents to make another application. |

Getting a visa is always feasible if you make your case - through your application About what you need, your sponsor will need to provide proof of sponsorship (one that is enough to convince the ECO that you will return to Nigeria). This can include a letter of sponsorship, their identification, proof of status in the UK, proof of fund, etc. People do not respond to all questions because some questions are similar to ones asked previously by other users. Soemtimes you just need to read through the thread and you'd find your answer. I hope this helps. Biritiko: |

owo12: Dude this is an abuse of visit visa terms and conditions. The fact that you did not overstay is irrelevant as you had specify in your visa application how long you intended to stay. Staying up to 5 months on each of your visit is not acceptable. It will be difficult for you to get another visit visa, unless you can proof that the reasons for staying that long was medical related. Making a misrepresentation will not help you as your entry and exit from the UK is in UKVI database. If you apply again your application will be flagged and your 15 months stay in the UK will be investigated. My advise is stay away from the UK for at least 2 years, so UKVI does not assume you are living illegally in the UK. 5 Likes |

Yuzee: Your success in getting the visa will depend on a lot of things, if you can convince the ECO that your family will return after the visit. Do you and your husband have travel history to A list countries? Have you travel outside the country together. Who will finance the trip etc. Even applying for a visit visa to go and write an exams is not guaranteed. My take is apply to go and take your exams. If successful you can use that leverage to apply for your baby and then your husband in future. 2 Likes |

Yuzee: your mind has already told you they will reject your visa application if you apply as a family...why are you still considering doing the contrary.... anyway, suite yourself or your husband.. best of luck |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Monmarri: 11:27pm On Aug 18, 2019 |
justwise: 1. If you have family members in the UK that need your assistance. My cousin sister had a five years UK visiting visa and her younger sister who is British gave birth to twins Dec 2017, their mother is late, so she decided to use her five years visa and stayed for five months last year 2018, from Jan - May to assist her sister because she delivered 2ru operation. This year March she left again to UK and just returned last month July to Nigeria. She said at the POE when she was asked how long she spent the last time, she said five months, she explained to them the reason and when she tried to show the immigration officer the proof of pictures and details of her sister, the immigration officer just wave it off and asked how long she will be staying and she said five months and she allowed her entry. 2. If ones partner lives in the UK . I had a colleague that went on secondment and the wife visited him and stayed for five months on each visits. 3. Medical Treatment : - Ones medical treatment might extend for six months based on doctors report. |

Hello everyone. My visa expires on the 16th of October and I intend to travel between 23rd September and 7th October. I intend to spend 2 weeks. Will this pose a problem at the POE? Thank you. |

Monmarri: Apart from medical treatment which should be one of excuse per person the rest are abuse of your visa especially when you work, run business in Nigeria. Your cousin sister stayed 5 months looking after her sister then after a while she returned again to stay another 5 months looking after the same person? |

Monmarri: Dude your cousin sister will definitely have al lot of explanation when she attempts to get a new UK visit visa. Despite the fact that she was allowed into the UK, she will need to convince the ECO when she apply again, what she does in Nigeria that permit her to stay away for 150 days. |
