My Experience At Jankara Market Yesterday by moscobabs(m): 11:59am On Jun 16, 2016
It wasn't funny yesterday when I find myself at Jankara market to buy my car (Nissan quest) cooling fan as I was nearly beating by Jankara boys because I priced down their market ...never knew Nigerians dey vex.

I start my car yesterday morning without any faulty in the car heading to hospital at Alakuko for my wife medical check up with only #12,000 in my bank account and 3k at hand. Bought 10ltrs fuel at #1500 in my area ijoko and I started the little journey with my wife who has pop on her leg due to fracture injury the car was working fine until we reach tollgate when I discover the overheating despite the heavy rain, I have no choice than to check the problem and I pulled over at Ajegunle to my surprise the fan was not rolling again I looked for rewire around (inside rain o) I eventually found one who checked and told me that the fan is spoil and cannot work again although is been given me sign before and my mechanic told me to change it but this harsh economy never allow me. I asked for solution from the rewire he said I have only 2 options is either I tow the vehicle back home or I buy a new fan then I asked him how much can I get a new fan he said is between 5-6k . Yeah!! I nearly collapse but wetin I want do?

I explain everything to my wife and we agreed to buy the new one I took danfo to kola bus stop to withdraw 8k and leta find my way to Jankara for the cooling fan.

I enter the first shop and the guy showed me one big fan size of my vehicle fan but didnt look like original to me I asked for the price he said 18k how much last? he said 12k last, this guy definitely don't know what he's saying I concluded and leave the shop.

I enter another shop and this guy looks gentle and has customer relation I told him what I need and he showed the fan which is exactly what I want he said the price is 15k but can give it for me at 12 last because is a morning market then I went straight to the point bro this fan is 5k . like say I kill hin pikin this guy shouted on me 5k? you must be an Army Robber he called other guys opposite his shop and they nearly beat me calling me names in Igbo I feel embarrassed I just have to leave
As I was thinking where to get 12k to buy the fan inside that rain then I saw 2 Yoruba guys they are hustlers in the market I told them what I want and they took me to one of Yoruba guys selling Nissan parts in the market the guy told me he can get the fan from one abandoned quest in his garage at 7k . I begged this guy to collect 6k he refuse o I turned my back thinking he would call me back...this guy no send me o. I later buy it 7k .

I told the guy that I need to test it and he asked me to follow him to where to test it when we got dere they demanded for #100 for the test I told him I have #50 the guy agreed and he tested it but the fan was not working well the guy(tester) said the fan is working well but his battery is low so the fan can't rotate well I told him I can't pay him cos I dont see reason why I have to pay I think I was forming big boy o until this guy drag me with my trouser because of #50 before I say jack they are like 8 on my head o ...se oya were ni, abi aye iya e o fe da ni? na u carry us come jankara or u think Nigeria is easy ? who asked you to buy car when you don't have money to maintain it.one of then remove my wallet and one grab my phone if not for the intervention of the guy that sold that part for me I don't know what would have happen to me.

My advice : pls guys if you don't have enough money on you don't take your car out because you can't predict what could happen to your car and please don't forget to take enough money with you when you want to go and buy any part of your car because everything is expensive now i asked for only handle of my car they said 2 front handles is 15k ..lol and guy no dey chill this time you have to avoid embarrassment by all means. and pls let pray for Nigeria and our president o.

All will be well.

According to reports, Jankara market in Lagos is renowned as a dependable source of fresh and smoke dried human parts for use by discerning fetish practitioners and cannibals alike.

If you merely got swindled there, maybe you ought to count your lucky stars that you were not captured, killed, smoke dried and placed on display as so many pieces of "eran oni'yo" or "m'enu'mo".

E get as e be for Jankara.

Oga Moscow, I don't get it. Are you saying there is another Jankara market in kola-ijaye axis or that kola axis also leads to Jankara in island.?
